Don't get all excited goof.  You're just gonna lose to us again in the playoffs, so the less you rant and rave now, the less I'll have to rub it into your Twinkie ass later!   :-*

BTW, Beltre just hit a grand slam, to but the Blue up 5-2!  Maybe we just WILL exorcise those Murduch demons...     8)

Hey, if we see a Twins/Halos rematch, that'd be great because it'd mean somebody beat the Yank-Offs and the Red Sux.    :-*

the sox are in. now they just need to pass the mfy...i am rooting for the twins this week

ps...mfy = yanks

I'm guessing that you don't mean "My Favorite Yanks"  :P

Now THAT is something I can get behind.   ;)

Suck it up A's!  I'd love to open the ALDS at the Homer-Dome!  ;D

Well, I've finally committed to going to C3!   ;D

And, I'm mooching a spot in someone's room, so that poor shlub is doing the leg work for the room ;)

I'll have to make sure that I buy him a beer at Hooters a local drinking establishment to thank him for his efforts.

Hopefully Birk and Benett will be back after the Bye, but it looks like Jimmy K will be gone the rest of the year leaving just that rookie TE...

I had the pleasure of going to the Vikings game yesterday (always nice to see them win).

The game should have been a much bigger blowout and I was a little disappointed that the Vikings D even let Chicago back in that game  >:(  At least the D stopped the bears when they needed to...

Too bad about Grossman.  Wait!  He's my 4th string QB!  What will I do now if Rattay, Bledsoe and Vick go down?!?   :P

Well...

I had lunch today with the esteemed OCB, who hooked me up with his extra Muppets Series 1 set and surprised me with his extra Back to the Future set as well, which though I initially didn't want, I somehow ended up with.  Maybe they are like drugs?  ;)

Thanks again, Scott!

At first I didn't want the BttF set, but who can resist a Kubrick dog?  Einstein!  Or Doc Brown.  I quickly relented and accepted and now have the old Kubrick total up to 28.   :o

Star Wars - 13
Indiana Jones - 1
Batman - 5
Muppets - 5
Back to the Future - 4

Soon my swap for the White Pad trooper will be complete and I'll have 29.   ;D

Virtual Teams Overcome NHL Lockout

Looks like NGC or PS2 will get to determine next year's Stanley Cup Champion.

I can't believe that this channel is seriously going to broadcast a Video Game complete with commentary and stats and everything!  Virtual NHL!   ::)

Madness.

Nice news on the box set.  The character choice is interesting, although I really like that Bespin Han.  Excuse my newbie-ness, but how does this work when a set like this or something comes out overseas?  Do you guys go via ebay, or place "your order" with Simon, or what is the best way to go?  Since I'm new here, and not even sure if I can afford to go all out, I certainly don't expect to be able to have the same precedence as you guys...but I was just curious how you go about getting these since they aren't released in the US (and Canada).  Anyways, if nothing else, its nice to be a very small part of the club here...with my first Kubrick arriving hopefully by the beginning of next week. :)

Well, I played catch up via eBay, but I think most of the fellas here try to grab a box (or Master Case for a few of the crazies) from various e-tailers.  I'm sure one of the Club Elders will be glad to post a few links for you... or US I guess since this is the first wave to hit retail for me too.

I'm still baffled by the choice of figures here but I'll take them all...

BTW, Series 3 is only a few weeks away!!!

Not even the slightest bit of hint as to the Chase figure(s) yet?  Does that kind of info leak out or is it really a wait and see what turns up on eBay kind of thing?   :-\

I wouldn't mind seeing a TC-14 Chase off 3PO or maybe a Chief Chirpa Chase off Wicket.  I also heard/saw someone mention TIE Pilot off the AT-AT Driver.  That would be kind of neat too :)
