I've got a Han Solo Watch from when I was a kid.  I was my first watch, and it is soooo cool.  The really strange thing is that Han's vest is sort of a strange green color...

It's got a picture of Han, and instead of a ticking second hand, his blaster moves up and down.  I'll take a picture later tonight for those that have no idea what I'm talking about.

I thnk the only stuff that EE shipped in September was stuff that was supposed to be due in August!

I also noticed that most of the cases are now NOVEMBER, with a very few set for October.

I hate Hasbro's shipping/distribution policies.   >:(

So I'm guesing that they will be sending doubles of certain common/uncommon ones, since they are saying that there are 121 total figures. And the "minimum of 28 Rare" line is odd, because there are 28 Rare/Very Rare figures total. So I guess if you manage to sign up for this magazine, you will be getting a complete set from them, including all the Rare and Very Rare figures.

Is it possible that 121 covers the first 60 and some of the Clone Strike figures too?  Or do we know for sure it's 121 Rebel Storm figures?   :-\

Has everyone seen the new picture of the Red ARC Captian Animated figure int he insider yet?

More pre-posed-ness in appearance, but a good sculpt.  These figures suck for articulation, but the likenesses are dead on...

I'll probably end up grabbing 1 set to go with the other 8 on my shelf.

The Original Trilogy / Re: Star Wars Trilogy DVD Impressions
« on: September 22, 2004, 01:47 PM »
Watched ANH tonight and it was like watching a whole new movie with a new set of eyes.  I sort of sat there with a dumbfounded grin on my face that this was something I had never seen before.  Trying to imagine myself in a theater in 1977.

I totally agree.  I found myself noticing little details I never saw before!  I kept thinking, "I've seen this movie 1,000,000 times before, how could I have not noticed that!"

It got so bad, I had to break out the THX non-special edition and Sepcial Edition on VHS to watch and compare.  Dang, does ANH look fantastic now!

The Wookiee Arcade / Re: World of Warcraft

Funny, but I have a friend that said the EXACT same thing.

He's been playing the Beta (I think it's done now?), and he loved the crafting, the content, everything.

He's trying hard to get me to abandon Galaxies and join him on WoW (he's planning on keeping both, but spending more time on WoW).

After my JtL Beta experience and the Jedi fiasco, I'm considering it...

Well...

I got into SW - JtL beta testing and have been flying around the last few nights.

It's safe to say that it is nothing like I thought it would be and is a disappointment after all the waiting and all the things (Combat Rebalance, Nerfed Professions, Revamops, Needed Content) that were delayed to get JtL out the door.

Once WoW hits, I might be done with Galaxies... unless I get my Jedi before then.

#1 - Hey!  This is the OTC, not Saga!   :P

#2 - I'm with Jesse on this one.  I don't really care if it was dark brown or dark blue, why'd they make his legs so messed up?  For the Taun-Taun?  Big deal, I already have one of those!  Where's my super-articulated Hoth Han?   >:(
