So yeah, thanks a lot Hasbro.† Way to keep your loyal customers happy. ::)

Hmmm...

This lucky reporter found this in his mailbox today:

Sweet!† The giant over-sized envelope was a nice surprise!† I was under the impression that I might not get my missile, but the Big-H came through for me!† ††;D

Looks much nicer WITH the missile, eh?† †:)

So, today is December 1st...† and no sign of the TRU box set on eBay yet.†

It seems like the box set may have been delayed to December 11th based on some stuff I've read at other Kubrick sites.† †:-\

Can't wait to get that set and place R5-D4 next to my lil Jawas!

EE has changed the ship dates again...

Took a while (like the last day of the month ::)), but now that last case is bumped back to January too...† :(

Makes me even more upset I missed the BBTS stock this AM (stupid work meetings!).† †>:(

Glad to hear that a wave 2 of all new vehicles is in the works too!† Just hope wave 2 is still going to be OT ships, and not ROTS ones (though I imagine those will be coming soon enough).

Around the water-cooler, all the kids are saying that the second wave WILL be RotS based...

Ep3 Jedi Starfighter
Ep3 Clone/Republic Gunship
Ep3 Clone Trooper X-Wing looking ship
Some Kind of Droid Tank

At least that's the leading word on the street.† But, who knows.† That was back when they were planned for Target (who as MAC said, seems to have passed on the line).† The line-up may change now that it appears to be a Wal-Mart exclusive instead.† †:-\

Hasbro has an official little blurb on them now...

Sounds promising for wave 2 at least.

So sad that so many have read, yet not responded, to this "good" thread.

Don't you think it's a little early in the day to hit the bottle, eh?† †:P

Maybe we should just make a sign-up list in here for who still needs what, and I can just PM the several appropriate folks when their respective figures are up on the 'Bay for a good price...† †8)

Here's my "who still needs what" list of things I still need...

Star Wars Boxed Kubrick Figures - Mint/Complete, Loose or Boxed:
1x Series 1 Boba Fett (Return of the Jedi) - CHASE
1x Series 1 Boba Fett (Vintage) - CHASE
1x Series 3 Logray the Ewok - CHASE
1x Series 2 Sandtrooper (White Shoulder Pad) - CHASE† ** I thought I had this one locked up via a trade, but my so-called pal seems to have let me down by changing his mind on the trade...† >:( ::)

Star Wars Box Set Kubrick Figures - Mint/Complete, Loose or Boxed:
1x ANH Early Bird set w/Luke, Leia, Chewie, and R2
1x RotJ Speeder Bike Set w/Luke, Leia, and Speederbike

And all of them dang carded Kubricks.† †:(

Is OTC Slave 1 a re-paint of Jangosí Slave 1? I figure it must be, but just want to make sure so if I pick it up, it wonít be the old 80ís mold.

It uses the Jango Slave 1 as it's base, but it is a bit different from that one, too.

A few difference I can think of off the top of my head:
1.  The "space mine" launcher and hole are gone, still has the 4-missile launcher and trap door though.
2.  Also, the guns and tail of the ship have been changed a bit.

Definately NOT a rehashed version of the 80s mold though.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Hamburger Helper Anyone?
« on: November 29, 2004, 03:46 PM »

Mac&Cheese, Ramen, Totinos, and HH got me through College.

Kraft Mac&Cheese and Ramen - I can no longer eat.† Seriously.† I ate soooooo much of this stuff during my college days that I think I am turned off on them forever.

HH and Totino's pizzas though, that's what I survive on if the wife is away with the girls for a night out.† Just toss a totino's in the oven or brave HH if I feel like "cooking" (for as much cooking is involved with HH.

I typically choose the Cheeseburger Macaroni or the Potato Stroganoff, but have been known to try a few new ones occasionally.† I usually stick with hamburger, but have been known to try turkey occasionally.† It's strange how some of them actually taste better with Turkey, yet some taste worse with the turkey.

Speaking of Turkey, have any of you tried Chicken Helper?† Not too long ago, we tried this one:

We plan on trying it again using Turkey as it wasn't too bad.

As for Tuna Helper - ICK.† Enough said there.†

HoF ballots this week...

Is this the year for my 2nd Base Hero, Rhino?† In the little leagues, I always had # 23 and always played second base because of him.† I got a chance to head to Wrigley a few times and watch him play, always amazed me (as a fellow 2nd baseman).† He set a crap load of records at 2nd, too bad most people don't remember him. :(

Here's hoping that he makes it this year...

Also, a couple piddly little plan-B signings by the Twins to cover for Guzy and Blanco leaving the Twins.† Still working on BRadke and Coskie I hope...† :-\

Interesting to see that the A's finally got the deal done to nab Kendall from the Pirates.† Should make them better a better at catcher than Miller did I'd say.

Congrats to the Eagles, who destroyed the Giants this last weekend (and helped me win in Fantasy Football :)).

Clinching your NFC East Division in Week 12 of 17 is a GREAT accomplishment.

Week-after-week they just crush people.† If this isn't their year to get to the Super Bowl, they'll never get there...† †:-\
