So I'm guesing that they will be sending doubles of certain common/uncommon ones, since they are saying that there are 121 total figures. And the "minimum of 28 Rare" line is odd, because there are 28 Rare/Very Rare figures total. So I guess if you manage to sign up for this magazine, you will be getting a complete set from them, including all the Rare and Very Rare figures.

Is it possible that 121 covers the first 60 and some of the Clone Strike figures too?  Or do we know for sure it's 121 Rebel Storm figures?   :-\

Has everyone seen the new picture of the Red ARC Captian Animated figure int he insider yet?

More pre-posed-ness in appearance, but a good sculpt.  These figures suck for articulation, but the likenesses are dead on...

I'll probably end up grabbing 1 set to go with the other 8 on my shelf.

The Original Trilogy / Re: Star Wars Trilogy DVD Impressions

Watched ANH tonight and it was like watching a whole new movie with a new set of eyes.  I sort of sat there with a dumbfounded grin on my face that this was something I had never seen before.  Trying to imagine myself in a theater in 1977.

I totally agree.  I found myself noticing little details I never saw before!  I kept thinking, "I've seen this movie 1,000,000 times before, how could I have not noticed that!"

It got so bad, I had to break out the THX non-special edition and Sepcial Edition on VHS to watch and compare.  Dang, does ANH look fantastic now!

The Wookiee Arcade / Re: World of Warcraft

Funny, but I have a friend that said the EXACT same thing.

He's been playing the Beta (I think it's done now?), and he loved the crafting, the content, everything.

He's trying hard to get me to abandon Galaxies and join him on WoW (he's planning on keeping both, but spending more time on WoW).

After my JtL Beta experience and the Jedi fiasco, I'm considering it...

The Wookiee Arcade / SWG - Jump to Lightspeed
« on: September 22, 2004, 11:53 AM »

I got into SW - JtL beta testing and have been flying around the last few nights.

It's safe to say that it is nothing like I thought it would be and is a disappointment after all the waiting and all the things (Combat Rebalance, Nerfed Professions, Revamops, Needed Content) that were delayed to get JtL out the door.

Once WoW hits, I might be done with Galaxies... unless I get my Jedi before then.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: Hoth Han Revisited

#1 - Hey!  This is the OTC, not Saga!   :P

#2 - I'm with Jesse on this one.  I don't really care if it was dark brown or dark blue, why'd they make his legs so messed up?  For the Taun-Taun?  Big deal, I already have one of those!  Where's my super-articulated Hoth Han?   >:(

Looks like he's out in Japan now...

Coming to the USA soon?

Update September 20, 2004. Due to supply issues from Hasbro, Entertainment Earth is estimating to fill a portion of orders for this item. As of this date, however, we do not have exact numbers as to the quantity we can fill.

I better get my ******* vOTC Chewie, R2, Fett, and Stormtrooper!

Hasbro can suck it.

Saw this in the paper this morning...

Man cited for speeding at 205 MPH

205 MPH?!?   :o

Dang.  Now that's a FAST bike.

No dedicated thread yet for these guys, so I may as well start one with this nugget:

Seems like there may be pictures of Felitpern Trevagg and Dannikk Jericho in the latest issue of SW Insider.  Anyone got this issue yet to confirm?

I have been very busy this week, but it looks like it's lightening up now.  Maybe Friday?

Oh yeah, not that it matters in comparison to I GOT INDY, but the Sandtroopers were Orange Pad and the Cantina Band Dudes were Hong-Kong-Fu.

So, all together, I've got:

Batman (US version)
Robin (US version)
Batgirl (US version)
Mr. Freeze (US version)
The Scarecrow (US version)
Boba Fett (ESB)
Cantina Band Dude (Japan)
Cantina Band Dude (Hong Kong)
Tusken Raider
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Han Solo
Sandtrooper (Orange Pad)
and finally, last but certainly not least - Indiana Jones

In the next few days, I should secure the White Pad Trooper from pal #1 (with a swap for the Orange Pad trooper) AND, on a non-SW note I am still trying to secure a Muppets Series 1 set from someone, I just have to get my lazy ass in gear and hook up for lunch one day when I/we/he are not swamped at work.   :-\
