I held that Yoda fighter in my hands, and my only thought was "what a piece of junk!"

There's no way you can make Bossk's bungalow with any degree of accuracy. There aren't enough hot chicks in the Star Wars line to properly populate that debonair Trandoshan's pad.

You guys should start working on some dioramas.

I love a lot of Abrams' work (Super8, Star Trek, Fringe), but I have to disagree about LOST. I really thought that show started great, carried that momentum for a few seasons, and ended like a giant turd. The last season consisted of them running from one end of the island to the other, basically filling time until the end church reveal. I found that it totally flew off the tracks, and it felt like they had no idea how to end it. And yeah, I understood what they were doing, they just didn't do it well.

By the way, there's a great LOST reference in Arkham City.

What now? Let me tell you what now. I'ma call a couple of hard, pipe-hittin' collectors to go to work on Hasbro here with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch. You hear me talkin' Rhode Island boy? I ain't through with you by damn sight. I'ma get medieval on your ass.

(I couldn't resist.)

Ha! Good reference! :D

I'm alright with the break, and it will be a welcome one. I am hoping we do see the ESB Slave-1 as Nicklab mentioned.

Couldn't have happened at a better time, my baby is due any day now.  ;D

Yeah, this is the price I'm happy to pay for TPM figures. I just bought 3 Gungan Warriors and 5 Naboo Royal Guards.

I'd love to find the Naboo guard at 5-Below. I would build a squad of those guys at $5/per.

CGI Sebastian Shaw, anyone?

I can't wait for the next announcement, as Hasbro deals with the glut of product it has sitting around...

"Great news, STAR WARS action figure fans!  Hasbro will be re-issuing “fan favorites” from the extraordinarily popular Phantom Menace wave!  We heard fans loud and clear, and as such only the “best of the best” characters from the Phantom Menace wave will be featured in the revived line.  The new series of VINTAGE figures will be available starting in early February 2013, and will fill the pegs until the end of time as we know it.  Distribution of characters may vary by location and is not controlled by Hasbro, but rest assured every retailer will be clogged to the gills with all your favorite Phantom Menace characters forever!"

I wouldn't mind having a Predator hanging out in my Cantina setup either...

Glad to hear the Elder finally arrived!

I'm really looking forward to the Dutch figure with the vest, since that's really the iconic Arnold look from Predator. I guess that's mainly because it's the cover image, so I can't wait to add that to my collection.

I've been posing my Predators with my DCUC figures (all Batman-related, because I've always felt that Batman would be the perfect character to square off against the Predator), but I think this Arnold figure will throw the scale out the window, at least as far as Batman is concerned. Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Robin, etc can all be smaller, since they were smaller characters.

Luckily there's a new super-articulated Arkham Asylum Batman being released early in 2013.  ;)

As for Big Red, I do like him...I'm not sure if I'll pick him up, but he is very, very cool.

I bought the Chair Suit Engineer from Prometheus last week...very cool figure, and the closest thing to the "Space Jockey" we'll probably ever get. I'm interested to see NECA's new Aliens figures as well, since mine are from McFarlane, which means they're only good for one pose. I'd like to pick up a few Aliens to square off against the Preds.

Ah good idea...I might have to try that.
