The Black Series 6" Figures / Re: 6" Black Series Deluxe Line

Did they really not sculpt a full holster for Hoth Luke? It has the VOTC Han syndrome where they sculpted the leg strap into the leg.

The Black Series 6" Figures / Re: 6" Prototype Boba Fett (Walgreens)
« on: November 13, 2014, 12:22 PM »
Finally snagged a Fett this morning at a ghetto Walgreens near work. The cashier mentioned that there was a guy who came in at least twice a day asking about them, and he would buy the entire stock if they had any. So now I know why it took me forever to find one.  :)

Finally found Proto Fett this morning.

Yeah, these figures look better than anything offered by Hasbro or Mattel. I'll probably wind up importing some, but it'll be tough picking between the Bandai Vader and the Revoltech Vader with the funky ball joint cape.

Sony is rumored to be planning a movie about May Parker now. They've denied the rumor, but still, can we just get Spider-Man's rights back to Marvel?

Foo Fighters "Sonic Highways" also dropped this week. Mine is on the way from Amazon.

Star Wars Rebels / Re: Star Wars Rebels Saga Legends Figures
« on: November 12, 2014, 06:59 AM »
I saw these at TRU last weekend although they were largely picked over. Only Rebels figs remaining were Ezra and Kanan, though they had plenty of the Legends figs. I did consider getting the 3PO/R2 animated set but passed for now.

The Black Series 3.75" Figures / Re: The Black Series 3.75" - Wave 6
« on: November 12, 2014, 06:56 AM »
I didn't see the deals (thanks to the Yakface twitter anyway!) until after I had placed my order. It came out to $39 after tax and shipping which is $13 per figure, not too outrageous and maybe $1-2 more than what I usually see on Amazon (and the only store still stocking 3.75 inch figures is TRU, which overstocked Wave 4, so they'll be sitting on Dagobah Lukes and Yodas until TBS ends).

HTS has this wave in stock! Thanks to Jeff (or whoever tweeted out) for the info!

Luke
R5
Malgus
Starkiller

I snagged Luke, R5 and Starkiller (already have TVC Malgus and the rest). Looks like I'm done with The Black Series until next year...

I have Palmer in another Yahoo league and I got the same notification sent to my phone. It advised me to pick up Nick Foles... ya know the same Nick Foles who is currently out indefinitely with a broken collarbone.

Never did like the modern VTSC version for some reason. I think it was the resculpted body, which has a terrible ball joint and makes the limbs and head look really small.

The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

I've been wondering what the timeline will be for trailers too. When the movies were out in May, we would get teasers in November and full trailers around March. I'm guessing we don't see anything until they attach something to Age of Ultron.

Star Wars Rebels / Re: TRU Reveal the Rebels: Jedi Battle Pack
« on: November 6, 2014, 02:39 PM »
Hmm... If I have this correct, Jayson said his date stamp on the back was 41981, which was the variant. Rebelscum's was 42061, which is the running change. I've got the 42061 but I have yet to open mine out of laziness, need to pop mine open to see what version I have.

I like it... gives off the vibe that it has been 20 years and now some you-know-what is about to hit the fan.

TV-9D9 / Re: Star Wars Rebels - Season One (Spoilers)
« on: November 6, 2014, 12:11 PM »
Has anyone been watching? Just marathoned the last three episodes, and so far a whole bunch of "meh." The latest episode with Ezra in the Imperial training center was pretty good though. Again I feel like the show isn't about "Rebels" per-se, but "bandits who cause minor annoyances to the Empire."

Best parts of the show? The music and the vehicles. I LOVED the TIE Fighter transport. Such a shame we'll never get anything in toy form.
