Good episode tonight. Didn't quite care for the flashbacks combined with the "live" events but I'll probably like it better on a rewatch.

SO much better than Fear TWD.

Found BB-8 at TRU! They must have unloaded a fresh case because there were multiples of all of the 2 packs and they were just scattered around the shelf and not hanging on the pegs.

Also picked up a Finn because I saw one with a perfect paint job. There's something about Finn's costume that screams "generic OT background character" and I might snag more for customs.

Been fooling around with Rey's Speeder for the last two days since picking it up... there isn't much action (just the pop up missile and some movable brakes) but it's still an awesome vehicle. Similar to the Landspeeder. There's a lot of "swooshability." Ironically I'm pretty sure this thing was designed for super articulated figures since the pack-in Rey doesn't even fit on there. In fact that's why I ended up buying the speeder, to put the eventual SA Rey on there.

I think it costs about $5 too much as it's really small, but again, the scale feels accurate and it fits in with a lot of OT stuff, and the only truly bad part is the pack-in figure.

I'm assuming we'll see nothing new, and Hasbro will "officially unveil" stuff we should be able to buy in stores right now, but can't. :P

Finally chugged my way through the last two episodes, and honestly I mostly fast forwarded through them. I don't think I'll be watching Season 2.

I too am seeing Desert/Snow Series 1 at Walmarts here.

Tonight I caved and snagged Rey and the FO Stormie (my first 3.75 inch figures) along with Rey's Speeder. The speeder is probably the coolest and most accurate (and only?) vehicle we've gotten since the Speeder Bike in 2012.

Stayed at my parents' house for a few days this weekend (where my collection is) and checked my 2010 Jabba and it had a few drips of grease/oil on the underside. I removed it from the dias and left it on my desk in an upside down manner as a precautionary measure. It didn't appear to have causes any damage to the dias or any of the figures surrounding the Jabba.

I got my Maul in the mail from HLJ yesterday. Haven't had a chance to even open the package yet, and probably won't until next week. Maybe I'll finally take a few hours and take some detailed pictures I keep saying I'm going to take. :P

Yes, you can stockpile stuff on Tenso. Basically what happens is when a package arrives you get an email, then you go to their site and pay for shipping. Or you can let it sit there if you're waiting for other stuff, then when it all gets there you can consolidate it into one package and they ship it all out together. Very similar, if not the same, as HLJ's private warehouse. I just don't know if there is a time limit they have for holding stuff before they automatically ship it out.

What courier service should I use?  I only found Tenso.  :/

I use Tenso, but I have also heard of White Rabbit Express, which supposedly offers cheaper shipping options. I haven't tried them yet since I'm lazy and don't order stuff from Japan THAT frequently. Tenso is usually around $20-25 to ship stuff to the US (since they only offer express shipping) but they will consolidate your packages if you have a bunch of stuff from different places. Here's a good guide that explains how Tenso works.

Jesse, I've used Amazon Japan to buy the SH Figuarts Luke... you have to create a separate Amazon account and use a courier/forwarding service for address purposes, but they let you bill to an American address, and they have English translations. They appear to still be selling the Bandai kits too.

It's at least worth trying to do some digging around on there. I've been trying to find other hobby sites to get all of the SH Figuarts figures so I'll let you know if I find anything.

Just got my payment request for Vader from HLJ... would have been nice to know this would be arriving since I just paid for the SH Figuarts Maul over the weekend and now have to ship them separately. Thanks Medicom! ::)

Interesting to note that the speeder that pops up is the toy that has the jacketless Finn figure, and I guess the goons in it are the guys from the box's artwork. BB-8 cameo at the very end there, and I'm assuming that's Poe's X-Wing flying around there.
