Anyone else interested in this Exosuit set? Comes out next week and supposedly will only have a single production run.

Well I'm excited for Dutch Vander, and is that Rex or some other Clone? Guess it's Wolffe. Leia looks great but I wouldn't be surprised if she just had shoulder articulation at this point.

Chewie... I think it's different. New headsculpt. The VOTC 04 version was based on ROTJ and had an open mouth while the Early Bird 05 was based on ANH and had a closed mouth. This one is a mix between the two?

I realize that a lot of things are going up in price, but there has to be a breaking point. Can you imagine paying $15 or so at retail for that lame Yoda we're getting in TBS 4 inch Wave 4? Like Jesse said above, there's always more things to spend money on, and that's what I plan on doing if prices keep going up because honestly collecting hasn't been "fun" in about three years for me now.

Bigger does seem to be perceived as "better" for collector-oriented toys though right now, and for the most part they're right.  If you read the article yesterday we posted a link to on the front page, regarding Jabba The Hutt's 6" figure creation process, Hasbro was very pro 6", and had a stance that what they do in 6" can't be done in 4".

Yeah what was up with that? The first thought that popped in my mind was something like "Well if bigger is better then why did the Hasbro 12 inch line suck so bad in the later years?" I got the feeling like they're still really ticked about losing the 12 inch license to Sideshow and being one-upped, so they're trying to make things right with the 6 inch line.

Umm, so, is this a new headsculpt for Han or are the paint and the camera angle deceiving me?

Well at least I know that if I ever want any of these, I'll snag them at Target

SDCC Exclusive 1960's Batmobile

 ::) ::) ::)

This is the kind of crap that really ticks me off because this is a set I would happily purchase for the $40 they're going to be selling for at Comic Con. Of course now if I want an actual set I'll have to shell out hundreds of dollars.

MTV has revealed the first 2015 LEGO Star Wars set, the Wookiee Gunship

Quote
75084 Wookiee Gunship
Protect Wullffwarro and his Jedi friend, Kanan Jarrus, with the powerful LEGOŽ Star Wars Wookiee Gunship. As featured in the Star Wars: Rebels animated TV series, this amazing battle-ready craft has loads of weapons to see off any invading force, like movable front cannons and an elevating top cannon. When the action really heats up, raise the wings into attack mode and unleash the never-before-seen rapid shooters! If you run low on ammo, open the side hatches to access the spare supply, then lower the rear bay door and unload the mobile gun post. Includes 4 minifigures with assorted weapons: Wullffwarro, Kanan Jarrus and 2 Wookiees. Available January 2015, 570 pieces, $69.99.

I'm guessing this is something from the Rebels cartoon?

I've hit up random Walgreens around town over the past few weeks for random stuff and each time I hit the toy section just because... I know there are a gazillion Walgreens on every corner but I have no idea how this is even going to work because Walgreens' toy aisle is pitiful at best.

It really depends on the articulation. If we're getting super articulated figures, I'll more than happily pick up the OT gang and probably the new main characters. But any troopers or minor characters? Probably not. I have more than enough Rebels and Imperials and won't care enough to pick up Poggle the Lesser or Zam Wesell type characters. Plus most of my collecting focus is on LEGO now, and that takes up enough space on its own. Adding a whole new trilogy to what I have, yikes.

Part of me is praying we get a shoddy 5 POA line similar to the last few Marvel movies so I can skip it entirely and not feel bad.

The Black Series 3.75" Figures / Re: Black Series Rumors
« on: July 14, 2014, 07:02 AM »
The more I think about these lists the more I wonder if a lot of these rumored figures are possibly on the way just for the heck of it... take Boushh Leia for example. The last version we got was near-perfect, and while I know there can be improvements to it, I'm thinking it's more of a case of Hasbro saying "we haven't had a Boushh in circulation in almost a decade, let's make a new one."
