Power of the Force 2 / Re: POTF2 Recent Purchases

An A-Wing today for 25 cents. The side guns and canopy were missing and the landing gear needs fixing.

Good thing there's a healthy star wars repro parts industry.... :(

Got my 4th AT-AT today. My 3rd used one. The big issue on this one is missing a top side door/hatch. Also lacks one missile and the chin gun is broke off (MIA). Plus some discoloration to the head. Because would you expect them use plastic that won't yellow?

The driver was MIA, but in a bag of parts there was a POTF2 AT-AT Driver with his chest dealie torn off but present. Strange.

I won't tell you how much I paid.

Hasbro self-sabotage?

Retailer insistence? Wal-Mart loves Ackbar?

There's a chinese ebay seller that carries that alternate helmet. Because ebay sellers only have the helmets you don't need.  :(

That's the horror anyone can turn instantly (as fast as the story requires).

And the undead are more motivated by piano music than all other noises.

While the manager and guests didn't check it out at all? Did they think it was a trap by the other side?

It was a mistake to tell the frat pack about San Diego. Should've said "Good luck."

I'd forgotten that his supposed to be 2010. So when Travis saw the graves. I was like, oh, the people died years ago.  :P

In this episode two dumb characters ally themselves with people worse than themselves. Nice manager lady who decides to contain the sickness by locking a zombie in with a room full of people. The American youths who are violent and stupid as hell.  Chris is psycho and a fool...for not telling Travis what was going on.

Maybe Ofelia made it someplace nice and never sees any of these idiots again.

Oh, we are told the father of the bride died of a heart attack. Because the intriguing idea that this is a sickness that is infecting and killing people outright is too interesting to pursue. Or should we even believe a hotel employee...she's no doctor.

Yeah, you think maybe they could've done an exaggeration of the helicopter saber thing for an action accessory, but nope...gotta go blaster pack

If you have the Reaction Buffy you can have her fight Seventh Sister for that Sarah Michelle Gellar vs Sarah Michelle Gellar action.

Highlights why it's silly to call those guys AT-DP pilots.

Imperial Death Bike Squad Commander Officers should be their official name.  :D

Not as cheap, but you can buy lots of 5 or 8 of those two-packs MOC from China....even Hera and the stormtrooper. I assume they aren't bootlegs.

Any excuse to sculpt a new Vader.

Rebels Leia with zip-line! A blind guy with a missile launcher!

Who decided "Zip line or missile launcher?" Hasbro committee put deep thought into it.

"Vader doesn't need to escape, he'd have a launcher..."
"But that's not a Sith weapon."
"It launches red swirly things."

It would have to be of limited use in space, since Nerf darts requires air to launch, right?  :P

Holy crap that's going to sit.  It's going to be REALLY fun trying to get my hands on one of each of the figures that it comes with... Damn.

Ebay. Not many people debate the ethics of buying from sellers in China anymore. When it's that or the alternative (or no alternative).
