Saga '02-'04 / Re: New Saga 4-packs: Love 'em or hate 'em?
« on: March 31, 2003, 01:39 PM »
I hope that is right Matt cause I preordered.  If it comes as a pack of Zam Wessel, Pilot Jango, Nikto Jedi and Mace Windu I am going to send it to you gratis  :-*

Everything is proceeding as I have forseen it...Hermi all the way

Actually seeing what they did with Ephant and how popular he seems to be with the fan base I think Hermi would be an awesome part of the Jabba's gang heavy 2004

Saga '02-'04 / Re: Star Tours wave 3 FINALLY!
« on: March 31, 2003, 01:35 PM »
I like the representaion of the Star Tours droid, but I am disappointed in the non-movie head.  I only hope this means we will be getting a slightly retooled version somewhere down the line.  I think Hasbro finally caught on to the fact that we will buy pretty much every astromech under the rainbow so I think a retooled movie R5 is possible.

Another possibility is that the movie accuracy lies on the other side of this guys head

Somewhere I just read that this droid is actually called R5-DL

My TRU has pegs full of Jango Pilot, Super Battle Droid, Senator Jar Jar and the Nikto Jedi.  There are also a ton of the Bespin Guards there as well

Target still has 20 pegs full (at full price) of the Bespin Luke Wave with Han along for the ride.  Chewie seemed to have sold well

Anyone saying the line is doing well is slightly delusional...there are some serious problems with our addiction

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: How many hours do you sleep a night?

I usually hit the hay around 10-10:30 PM after I read a chapter or two of the current book I'm reading.  I get up anywhere between 6 and 7AM which depends on when the little guy decides he wants to wake up for the day.  So between 8 to 9 hours a night.  Probably less on the weekends because I will stay up later but still have to get up early :P

We've been trying to finalize our plans this summer, we thought about Vegas...but not in the summer.  We then are thinking about going to Northern Wisconsin to the town of Bayfield on the South Shores of Superior but that would be for a weekend.  For sure we are going "Up North" to northern Minnesota for a week with the in-laws.  I have plenty of frequent flyer miles saved up and we could go somewhere nice, we just need to find a spot to go to

Cory...your collection never ceases to amaze and delight, I've thought about starting up a character focus but haven't decided on who to focus on.  I've thought about Yoda and Jabba but just haven't taken the plunge.  Great stuff!

12 Rubbermaids :o  You definitely need that new house Chris!  Your stuff looks great except for that Bears jersey, Purple and Gold would look a lot better :P  Do you have mostly loose stuff or both loose and carded/boxed?

Other Collectibles / Re: Star Wars Fact Files
« on: March 28, 2003, 11:07 AM »
I was seriously thinking about it and I looked into it as well and kind of gave up because like Matt said it was too much of a hassle.  I would love to have them though just for the pictures and facts alone.  My dream book is to someday have LFL put out a whole Coffee Table book full of this stuff, facts, images, stills, movie captures etc etc

Maybe BDW you could elaborate on what each issue entails for those people who don't know what Fact Files are

I also thought I heard the Insider was looking at doing something with these (I may have asked Vic over at RS I can't remember)

I too passed on watching most of the show...I did see Chicago though and liked it for the most part.  It was a down year for Hollywood in general

BTW, if Will Ferrell doesn't get a nod for his performance in Old School next year I know for a fact the whole thing is rigged

Good Luck with the job search Chris...sounds like you made the right choice though.  With a background in computers I would think you would be able to pick your next career path, my advice would be not to settle and pick the perfect job for you, especially with Momma Warbucks

My brother's fiancee is also a Chemical Engineer and he is a lowly Elementary School teacher, I keep teasing him about his sugar momma and he is very happy with the fact that he will be supported by her :P
