Thanks JR. The helmet does not have a circle on the back, so that's one more nod toward original.

Alright, Han stormtrooper armor is a given. That one needs to be made. Technically, I guess they could make one with gloves as well. :P But that's it. No more after that. Except for maybe a less possed Han with Stormtropper belt. But, that's it. Really.

Okay, Cerimonial Han too. :(

Pics look great, I'm very impressed, but I do have one question:  why does Garindan have a vastly superior holster than does Han?  That just strikes me as weird.  I'm extremely pleased with the Garindan figure, make no mistake, I'm in the camp that didn't think we needed another but I am thrilled with the result.  But is there a reason Han must suck so badly?

Hasbro just has it bad for that Cantina sculpt.  I did like that figure when it first came out but talk about beating a dead horse.  Man.  Hopefully the one later on in the year will be a new sculpt?  We'll see.

That brings up a good point. Do we really want a new ANH Han sculpt every year? Granted, the VOTC sculpt can't be improved upon too much, but I don't think they can offer that to us as a basic figure yet. I mean really, how many ANH Han scuplts do we need?

Vintage Kenner / Luke Stormtrooper

Please merge if the topic already exists. I have not been able to master the search feature here. :P

I just picked up a loose Luke Stormtrooper. It is the last Vinatge figure I need (not including Vinyl Jawa and the DT's.) Anyway, I'm in need of expert assistance to make sure I got the original helmet and weapon.

First, the helmet. I'm reasonably confident it's real, but never having even held one I new to be %100 complete, I just wanted to make sure. I'm confident it's real because it has slight pait wear and dirt/discolorization seems to have invaded the seams (slightly.) The helmet is also hard, which I wasn't expecting. I kind of thought it might be like Boushh's helmet. Any thoughts or test that I can do? Things I should check to test it's authentisity?

Now the Blaster. I am well aware that Luke's has a unique color tint. However, after comparing his blaster to the many I have, there seems to be several tint variations. Can anyone give me a dead bang comparisson? At first I thought it was the right one, now I'm not so sure. :(

Thanks in advance for your help.

Good army builders too.

I've removed the monoculars and cut off the pegs on some.

Good review as always. I have to agree. I was okay with this figure until the Evolutions Anakin came out. After wearing a Rolex, a timex just isn't the same.

Ok, someone's going to have to tell me what happened to the thread where the guy was quitting collecting Justice League figures because they released a holiday employees only toy, and I told him it was the same thing as Gentle Giant Holiday busts.

I'm curious, what figure are they making for the employees?

As for the whole quitting collecting thing, I never got that either.
   E...

Reminds me of the hoopla over the press kits. People were very angry they weren't avaiable to the public.

For as much as I'm a fan of the movie and have been waiting for the DVD, I had no idea when it was coming out until yesterday. :P

God that AT-AT driver looks awesome.  I did retire my old POTF2 drivers actually because of this figure.

 :P

I'm going to do the same thing. I think the POTF2 ones hold up well enough though, at least to trade off.

Hammerhead (or Momaw if you prefer) - This is a figure I never picked up in the POTF2/Saga days, just waiting to see if it would be re-done.

R5-D4 - What can be said...we've all been waiting for this one.

Garindan - Another POTF2 figure I held off on, and again, I'm glad I did.

Now that's Faith!

I think the space will be half of what it is now, with only a quarter of the space for basic figures used since Choppers and Transformers will be taking up space.

Now that I look at the picture again, I've decided that this is too good to be true, and therefore the final product will, in fact, include two AT-TE Gunner molds with the helmets glued down.

I'm not listening, LA, LA, LA, LA........

Awsome wave! The new scuplts are just amazing, yet, a lot of people are going to be complaining about the lack of articulation.  ???

I can see finding lots of sets with the #6 clones returned. :(
