Interview with Derryl DePriest of Hasbro
Lee's Toy Review updates today with an interview with Hasbro's Derryl DePriest. DePriest had some interesting things to say regarding the future of the 3 3/4" line for 2007. He confirmed that there will be an Academy Biggs scheduled for Wave 3. And perhaps more interesting, the VOTC/VTSC line will live on next year with a new wave made up of six figures. Bespin Luke is the only figure he would confirm so far, the rest will likely be revealed at Toy Fair. Head on over for the full article!

Carded Kubrick Shadow Stormtrooper Exclusive
Another carded Star Wars Kubrick figure has hit the Japanese convention circuit this weekend. This time around it's the Shadow Stormtrooper, exclusive to the World Character Convention (WCC23) and limited to 2006 pieces (1000 at the show, 1006 via the Medicom Collector Club). Lucas Trooper Offer Extended
Didn't get your Lucas figure? Well besides being lazy about sending off your tabs for one, you're also in luck. It seems Hasbro has once again extended the offer for the George Lucas (as Stormtrooper) figure to February 28th, 2007.
The offer remains the same - 5 tabs from any 5 figures along with the official form, which you can download at Hasbro Star Wars. With all the random deals found on VTSC figures at retail, this is good news for the clearance seekers.

New Review: Naboo Soldier (Flight Crew)
Back on track with reviews, I kick off the first of the "Naboo Wave" of figures by taking an in-depth look at the Naboo Soldier. Is he a soldier? Is he flight crew? Is he dull? Well he's an army builder and articulated, but there were some hidden flaws on this one, and he's definitely not a figure on most people's list of demands. Read the review for all the good and bad, as always.
