I find it hilarious they are going to shamelessly double dip on Baylan & Shin by releasing them first again without their cloaks, just like in the Black Series.  ::)

I’ll buy all three of those Ahsoka figures though, sucker that I am.

We now have everyone from that Worlds Between Worlds flashback scene except Ahsoka herself. Weird omission.

The Cantina figures looked great I thought.

The Black Series 6" Figures / Re: Black Series 6" Holocomm Collection

Target has Holocomm Darth Maul on sale for 50% off right now.   :)

Noticed Holcomm Mando no longer appears on Pulse. That was the only Wave 1 release I didn’t get at a steep discount. Wonder if we will see him turn up at ROSS someday like Axe and Ahsoka.

Yeah, congrats Rob! It is worth the wait.

I finally have a space cleared and a permanent docking station for mine but haven’t figured out which figures I want to put in there yet. Right now I just have TVC Sabine open.

“I must be in the front row” was a running joke in my family for years. My old man loved him.

Saw David Lynch passed too. They always come in threes… :'(

A couple other thoughts: I wonder how the influx of all those Old Republic Credits affected the galactic economy and the New Republic? The show clearly showed that Old Republic credits were highly valued in the New Republic era in the show, but that value would surely plummet with the influx of all those credits that had been hidden for decades on At Attin. There are many historical examples where nations that had a sudden influx of extra cash often met with declining currency values, inflation, and weakened economies…

With a treasure hoard like that, you could afford to build a whole fleet of Star Destroyers equipped with planet killing weapons!  :D  ;)

Really enjoyed the finale tonight and thought they ended on a high note. I guess the ratings are not so hot but maybe that is just SW fatigue? Anyway, I liked it a lot overall. Curious if any of these characters will turn up in other media someday.

I was kind of hoping they would not have to recast him at all and just use CGI or write him offscreen somehow. But I like Rory a lot and seems like a good choice. Graham McTavish would have been good too I think.

Mostly just happy because this confirms there will definitely be a second season to hopefully complete the arc for all of these characters. I know they had more or less confirmed this previously but Disney seems to flip back and forth so often on stuff now.

I wonder if he also has a G.I. Joe video as well.  I would love to see the display with multiple US Flagg boxes if there were variants of that set.

He does! It’s outrageous!  :D

Yeah, that is not a collection a regular person could assemble for sure. I can’t believe how many things I saw in there that I never even knew existed…the pop up display for Slave 1, the Display Arena, the Laser Rifle carrying case, the ROTJ 2-packs…sheesh.

I guess my collection isn’t as complete as I thought it was!  :D

Watching the video now…thanks Rob!

Apparently this same dude also has one of the world’s largest vintage GI Joe collections too!

I’m all about variants so looking forward to seeing something new there…

The Escape from Order 66 set finally went on sale today at Amazon, albeit for only 7% off. You can save $4.40!  :D

Kinda tempting but I’m still inclined to hold out for a better price.

I got Disney+ back for Skeleton Crew too but still have no desire to go back and resume this stinker.  :-X

Relieved the quality has not dropped off and they seem primed to finish strong with just two episodes left and a lot to wrap up.

I’d like to see them all end up back on At-Attin where Jod takes over for old pirate guy as the new Supervisor. But that will require killing A LOT of pirates first lol.

Other Toy Lines / Re: 2022: What Are You Collecting?
« on: January 2, 2025, 03:03 PM »
Same old, same old for me in 2024 looks like.

1) Star Wars Black Series - still trying to maintain a complete collection but those @#$&* Holocomm figures are really pushing it.

2) Super 7 ReAction & Ultimates - still trying to be selective with these, but I’m all in on their Godzilla stuff in any scale.

3) The Ghost - Hopefully by this time next year I will have this in hand!  :)

That’s it, unless NECA does any more figures from The Thing. Will probably pick up some Marvel Legends here and there if they do any more classic FF characters. Will likely buy more Jurassic Park stuff on clearance too since I can’t seem to quit that line cold turkey.

Mine is pretty much the same as last year, except for having the Ghost now.  ;D

My collecting habits have evolved a lot over the past few years. I pretty much buy everything new online now. I stopped preordering every figure as soon as it became available. I started playing the waiting game with more stuff and 9 times out of 10 it paid off with cheaper prices. So that’s my goal again for this year.
