I picked up five Jedha Revolt sets today at Walmart for $5 a pop. I tried but could not talk myself out of it.  ;)

Got my shipping notice!  ;D

ugh, the parade of ignominious Walgreens runs is upon us.  :-\

Probably my least favorite store next to Gamestop to hunt. So many damning glances from cashiers when you walk in and out in two minutes...

I would like to know if these are being found on the regular toy aisles or if they are being hidden on endcaps around the store as they are wont to do.

I'd buy a handful of him in the imperial deco.

This!

I can't believe Hasbro never gave us that easy repaint, I have been wanting one forever.

Got him!!!  ;D

2-2 this Fall...unbelievable.

I had to bail out on my laptop and switch over to my trusty iPad in the middle of checkout, but luckily I was logged in and ready to rock on both devices so it was a smooth transition.

Hope everyone else gets theirs!

They did indeed file for Bankruptcy yesterday right here in my hometown of Richmond, VA.  :D

Long, slow death spiral sounds about right to me. I have been reading a lot of articles on this lately and there just does not seem to be any clear path to restoring financial stability.

It would be heard enough to sustain their business in the current retail climate to begin with, much less saddled with 7+ BILLION dollars of debt that they didn't even incur - thanks to vultures like Bain Capital. Good luck digging out of that hole.

I would be sad to see them go, so many great childhood memories, and a few adult ones too. But given the choice I would never shop there because its such a horrible experience. Everything is overpriced, their "sales" are terrible, they refuse to offer decent clearance prices, there's always a huge line with 1 person working checkout, etc etc. At least Walmart and Target have self check-out.

Hurry up and get those Ackbar and Rey exclusives out!

"Repo Man's got all night, every night!"

"He had a gun on me, Duke, there was nothing I could do."

 :( :'(

Literally one of my favorite actors ever. Guy had major roles in 2 of my Top 5 all time movies - Repo Man and Escape from New York. And Alien is close behind. And The Godfather II. And Red Dawn. That dude was in practically everything. And was great.

Sadness...

Yep, I hit two of our remaining stores last week and saw Ben, Leia, AT-AT Driver, Sabine and Snowtrooper. No sign of you know who. Cool that they are getting stuff though...

That was beyond asinine and another great example of why both he and that site JUST PLAIN SUCK.

When he brought the Nazis and alt-right into it, his agenda became pretty clear. That pathetic idiot has serious emotional problems.

Other Toy Lines / Re: MOTU

I had a nearly complete collection of all the figures prior to the TV show coming on, which really killed my interest after awhile. I dumped them all at my local comic shop a few years ago in an impulsive move. I sometimes regret it, but they did take up a lot of space.

Super7 is doing some amazing stuff with the new figures I think, both scales. It's just not a property that tempts me anymore.

You stay up late, dude!  ;D

It's my understanding that there actually are squads of Executioners, maybe not hundreds, but definitely more than one. So that one is probably ok to army build.

It seems the Praetorian Guards though, unlike the ERG's, are actually individualized, both in armor and weapons, so that one might be more of a stretch to buy multiples. But don't let that stop you! You can always customize...

Yeah, they just seem to be throwing them out there regardless of what older stuff is on the pegs. I've also seen a few extras on the tops of the shelves too.

I was able to pick up a full set of 4 of these today, no issues ringing up so they must have fixed the computer glitch or whatever.

Len Wein, co-creator of Swamp Thing and Wolverine.

Oh man , I was a big fan of his work, especially on the original Swamp Thing. I went back and bought the whole run a few years ago, great stuff...

The Black Series 6" Figures / Re: 6" Black Series Rey with Speeder
« on: September 10, 2017, 07:42 PM »
I found a few of these and the Landspeeder sets on the clearance aisle at Walmart for $45.  :)

I ended up buying another Rey set because the one I got on FF had an ugly paint splotch on her goggles. Agree with tman, this is a great set! They really added a lot of nice detail and it doesn't feel like they cut any corners on the size.

My only gripe is that I can't get both feet on the pedals at the same time, but it's not a big deal as she can still sit ok.

I think these kinds of sets are my favorite things in this line. So cool!
