Real brief. My friend trying to pick one up for me said the cashier didn't realize they already received a batch.

It's growing on me. And Nick, I can see how kids would be attracted to the colors.

Might have to try getting 2 -- one for my collection and the second to replace the first should my toddler niece take a liking to it and decides she wants it.

Dear IRS. Apologies that my tax forms aren't in order. Please understand that I got caught up ordering merchandise online. Not just any items, but Star Wars action figures.

Can't believe that I'll have spent more time clicking on different sites to see toy availability than I will on my tax returns.  :-X

When are they coming out? There hasn't been any SW figures in our stores in a year. I mean nothing not even peg warmers.

Target exclusive. In stores in the summer (yeah, right). Pre-order starting Wed, 5/5, 1pm ET.

My Fett from Amazon arrived a few days early and it's the non-sensor variant.  Woohoo. Now I Just h to be on the look out for the sensor version.

I can't believe it's been 6 months since I ordered this.

Very cool of them. Let us know how you think the real deco AT-ST driver compares to the original release. I vowed not to buy reissues but I'm a liar (and some of the others were really nice).

8-9 years later and I still haven't warmed up to the color design on the Republic Trooper. It's odd and not Star Warsy.

I don't game but I had serious envy when the Purge Trooper came out in the BS.  So glad it's now in TVC form. But essentially $5 shipping for each fig on top of the delta for the gaming greats is a tough swallow, so HasbroPulse gets my dollars for the others.

This is a great set but it does suck the figure is exclusive. Wish they did an accessory variant instead, like the Razor Crest off-world jawa, so the figure itself is widely available.

That said, I'm down with the occasional release of a well-made re-deco and figure. I'll even go for a semi- or thrice-annual subscription.

(C'mon, Haslab, time to add a new Y-wing to your portfolio.)

Screw the poll. Hasbro needs to make the tank driver available to channel partners -- or whatever the term is -- by the CASE.

My tanks are still sidelined because they have no drivers.  >:(

My Queen Amidala came. Yay?  :-\

Call it the pandemic blues. Blame it on withdrawals from the dearth of TVC. It was a moment of weakness and I pre-ordered.

From memory, the face does look way better than the original. So while there are so many figures I would have preferred re-released before this, I'm not sorry buying this version. Yay!  :)

Carded TVC 102. Ahsoka.  :o

Back in the day I ordered a couple of cases that happened to include Ahsoka. I already had the figure so the ones that came in this assortment would have just been put away.

The package never arrived.

It was painful being out the cost of those 2 cases. But after seeing what the carded figure fetches now... it's as if a time portal opened up from yesteryear and a fist shoots out and lands an uppercut to the 'nads.

Royalties.

Paying one actor for their likeness, I imagine, would be insignificant. But it potentially opens up a pandora's box. And I can see why discussion of a Tonnika figure is verboten in official Hasbro business.

Even before i clicked on your link I had a feeling you were referring to him. I came across his channel few weeks ago. I believe he posted years ago on occasion at anotheR Site.

If we're to believe him and his sources, we finally have an answer as to why the Tonnika sisters won't get made.

LEGO / Re: The End of the Road?

All of you lasted way longer than me. I bought lots of the introductory sets in '99 (??) and haven't picked up any since. Still have them because selling stuff is a pain. And I figure I can hand them off to my nieces and nephews if they ever got a liking for them.

I stopped by briefly at the house of a friend's friend and they had all these cool Star Wars ships strung up in a case in the living room. It wasn't long before I realized the LEGO was a family thing (and Star Wars, no less). Pretty cool for those of you who shared that passion for building blocks with young ones.
