Who do we think the last figure is?

Kind of strange they still haven't revealed the last figure in this wave.  Rumors say it is a repack and not a new figure...

Starting up a placeholder thread for this wave, which should be made up of some previously pipelined figures.  It is very likely we see some of them fully revealed at SDCC this week.

The Mandalorian w/Imperial Beskar Jetpack
Bo Katan (Season 3)
Jetpack Trooper (Jedi Fallen Order)
Grand Admiral Thrawn [Ahsoka]
Ahsoka Tano (Peridea)

I think there is one more figure in this wave, but I'm not sure if it is a carry-forward figure, the pipelined World Between Worlds Anakin [Ahsoka], the pipelined Lt. Callahan [Ahsoka], or maybe something else we haven't seen yet.

I kind of want to get Kelnacca in there just because I like the idea of a Wookiee Jedi action figure, but there is so much I want from ANH, ROTJ, Rogue One and more I guess Kelnacca can wait until a 2025 wishlist.  ;)

Crazy Idea - what if we changed up the categories and did our own "Eras Tour" #TaylorSwift

Top 20 - Fall of the Jedi (TPM, AOTC, ROTS)
Top 20 - Reign of the Empire (Solo, OWK, Andor, Rogue One)
Top 20 - Age of Rebellion (ANH, ESB, ROTJ)
Top 20 - The New Republic (TM, BOBF, Ahsoka)
Top 20 - Rise of the First Order (TFA, TLJ, TROS)
Top 20 - Animation (Droids, Ewoks, Clone Wars, Rebels, Bad Batch, Tales of the Jedi, etc)
Top 20 - EU (Everything else - books, comics, video games, Kenner, etc)

On one hand, I kind of want to do a "Top 10 - The High Republic Era (Acolyte)  wishlist" to vote for stuff like TVC Torbin, Kelnacca, Indara, Bazil, Qimir, etc.

On the other hand though, I'm not sure if it would matter in the long run - is anyone going to put anything from The Acolyte into their Top 25 list? #hmm  ???

I know its not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but I liked it.

It was definitely not the best TV show I've ever seen, but certainly not the worst show I've ever watched.  I liked the lightsaber battles and I got enough out of the story for me to find it worthwhile time spent.

I'd watch Season 2 if they decide to make it.

I was surprised to learn recently that Solomahal and Atheloe are two separate characters!  Someone had a BTS photo that showed the two of them together.

Solomahal, Atheloe, and Ownellco are really confusing because LFL changed names over the years.

Atheloe is the one seated near the front of the Cantina.  He was also called "Hare Mouse" on set.

Ownellco is pretty much the same as Atheloe but with an Ascot.  He is standing by Leesub Sirln in the Cantina.  He is also the Lutrillian who walks past Obi-Wan and Luke on the streets of Mos Eisley post-Cantina. He was called "Colonel" on set.

Solomahal was once the same as one of Atheloe/Ownellco (from Decipher card game card circa 1997-2003), but that was retconned by an article in Star Wars Insider that went with the Atheloe/Ownellco names.  Now Solomahal is widely considered the Lutrillian from the Holiday Special.  The Solomahal name was re-used for a Clone Wars novel character just to add to the confusion.

"Some other patrons used (partially) recycled costumes from A New Hope. Solomahal (28), who Ackmena mistakenly called Helpmus, is a Lutrillian sitting at a table with Bom Vimdin. Originally, Solomahal was a name used for one of the Lutrillians in A New Hope, and he has a rich background story in various sources. However, the Rogues Gallery in Star Wars Insider 133 established the Lutrillians from A New Hope as Ownellco and Atheloe, leaving Solomahal to appear only in the Holiday Special. "

The more I dig into all of this, the more it becomes clear how often LFL/Kenner/Hasbro messed up source pictures from ANH and the Holiday Special when doing figure research. Some of the characters (like all the Snivvians) are really messed up because of the naming and renaming that has happened - Zutton, Zutmore, Takeel, etc.

Glad to cross Armorer's Forge and Mos Eisley Cantina off my list!

2024 list:
SOLO Vandor Sabaac Table/Room
RO Vader's Mustafar Bacta Tank
ANH Yavin IV Control Room/Table
ANH Obi-Wan's House
ESB Echo Base Control Room
ESB Yoda's Hut
ESB Bespin Cloud City Dinner Table Room
ROTJ Ewok Village Hut/Campfire
ROTJ Home One Briefing Room with Holo Table
TM Mando and Grogu’s Home (Nevarro)

Was having a discussion with a friend last night.  I brought up all the 6" vehicle HasLab wins in GI Joe -

GI Joe Classified 6" HISS - 27.6k sold
GI Joe Classified 6" Dragonfly - 24.7k sold
GI Joe Classified 6" Rattler - (rumored) - not even announced yet and tons of buzz from Joe collectors.

Remind me again why Hasbro hasn't tried a 6" scale AT-ST? or 6" scale X-Wing HasLab?  Seems like there are big vehicle buyers there...

My friend was on the other side - 6" vehicles = HasLab death.  The Marvel HasLab wins have been "big guys" - Sentinel, Galactus, Giant Man.  The only fail was a vehicle.  He doesn't think the average 6" collector cares about vehicles, just the figures and that my view of vehicles is skewed because I'm a 3.75" Star Wars lifer.

He said the only reason the Gi Joe vehicle HasLabs do so well is because Joe is the one property that actually did a good job converting the 3.75" base into a 6" base.  You can't get 3.75" anymore, so almost all the Joe fans are 6" fans now and Hasbro is doing a great job re-selling the same figures to those guys just in a new size; 100% cashing in on nostalgia and with a healthy repaint scheme in palce too (Python Patrol, Night Force, Tiger Patrol, etc).

Do you think he's right?  Is GI Joe the only line that can pull off 6" vehicle HasLabs?

Dragging this thread from the abyss for an update thanks to the HasLab Cantina successfully funding...

Who Is Left From The Cantina?

Arliel Schous (Defel)
Baniss Keeg
Danz Borin
Lirin Car'n
Sai'torr Kal Fas
Solomahal (he's a Holiday Special Cantina Guy)
Garouf Lafoe
Yerka Mig
Spacer 1
Swilla Corey

Using Scott's list as a starting point, I am starting a year long project deep-diving on the Cantina scene.  I want to use this thread to keep track of pics and info as I go to figure out who we still need in figure form.  Hoping to post some regular updates as I am sure others will be doing a very similar project as we all wait for our HasLab Cantinas.

It's funny how many more characters have been identified and named in the last ~18 years since this thread was started.   :D

Wuher was a given.  Tonnika sisters sold the set.  While Greedo is iconic to the scene, we have so many of him.  The other two we also had, while not as nicely detailed as the tiered version.

The Wolf Man was all new no?

I saw quite a few people who mistook Arleil as a resculpt of POTJ Lak Sivrak when they are two different characters.

Would people want an improved TVC Darth Vader TIE, Jedi Starfighter or A-Wing?

Definitely agree that the Mando N-1 proved there is still room at retail for the smaller ships.  I think there is room for them at regular retail (or at least "fan channel") all the way up to $200 or so like the Slave I repaint(s).

My interpretation of your question would be "do people want an improved TVC Darth Vader TIE, Jedi Starfighter or A-Wing for $100?  $100-125 seems to be the going rate for a starfighter sized ship these days for better or worse (Merrick's X-Wing, E-Wing, Mando N-1).

I'd probably be down for an all-new tooled Vader's TIE for $100 if it were detailed enough but I think I'd be a "wait for clearance" guy on a new A-Wing or Jedi Starfighter at those prices.

The review of last night’s episode over at JTA is just brutal.  :D

Wait - you're telling me that JTA, notorious haters of Disney era Star Wars, had nothing nice to say about The Acolyte?  #shocked

I'll admit that this show isn't GREAT but it isn't the trainwreck that some make it out to be.  Not every show is going to be able to be a Breaking Bad or The Sopranos or Mad Men.  Sometimes you have to decide whether you're going to just enjoy the ride or you're going to quit watching.  That's a personal choice - trying to tell other people what they should or shouldn't enjoy is a waste of time.

I'm watching The Acolyte.  I'm generally having fun and enjoying the 30-40 minutes each week watching with my daughter (who is also enjoying the show).  I guess that's all I want or need from this show.  Could it have been better?  Sure.  It's not Andor, but it's also not Book of Boba Fett.
