Well, if we look at the OT, there aren't any aliens serving in the Empire, other than the Mos Eisley informant. I don't see Mas Amedda walking around with Palpatine, but I see alot of old (and incidentally, white) humans walking around with him. Granted, its retroactive conditioning, but I don't think its wrong to assume that the Empire may have moved into a xenophobic direction.

And I don't agree with the destruction of Alderaan as being like a bombing of a city. The destruction of Alderaan was more like an attempted genocide. The planet wasn't bombed, it was obliterated.

All force-users, with the exception of Palpatine and Vader, were (allegedly) hunted down and killed. That sounds like persecution to me.

Speaking of smart people, you're link doesn't work.

Hey smarty-pants, you should have typed "your" rather than "you're".

Sorry, it was too good to pass up!  :P

I think we're also supposed to believe that incidents like the Owen and Beru execution were common practice. Also, the Empire slaughtered Jawas and blamed it on another native species...that sounds pretty sketchy to me.

Also, you can see him killing armed adult jedi in the hologram recording.

Cough Cough

I guess maybe everyone has had enough figures from Episode 2...  :'(

I definitely want more figures from Episode 2, but I've already picked my 10.

Nope. The Target clone has the normal ROTS clone helmet, the guy on the speeder with Neyo, has the same helmet as him. He doesn't have the basci helmet like the Taget clone has. Both Neyo and his clone were riding the new bike as well, I think Stass was too.

I'm not all that bothered by the Target clone, especially considering he's a grunt. The one consistency with the clone groups in the movie appears to be that they're not at all consistent. In other scenes, you see different helmets within the same group, like on the landing platform on Utupau with Cody, where he has his own helmet, and he's accompanied by both standard helmet-wearing and "Neyo" style helmet-wearing clones. So it's not too far of a stretch for me to believe standard helmets exist within Neyo's ranks. I'd hope that we will get Neyo soon, however, so I can get to work on swapping a couple of Target clone heads.

I watched closely for the BARC Speeders last night, and both Neyo and his buddy are on them, while Stass drives a red and white painted ROTJ-style bike, definitely. So Hasbro, instead of rehashing an old toy like they should have (ironically), they retooled the newer BARC speeder for no reason. Oops!  :)

At least the bright side of that is we'll have a Barc speeder that doesn't have a big, stupid wheel under it.

Coleman Trebor survived the blasts and fall on Geonosis, didn't he?

Yeah, he's alive and well in Jango's apartment.

That's right. They were mentioned when Obi-Wan says "If you have warriors, now is the time", but I don't think we ever saw any. Were they riding those pterodactyl looking things?

I'm thinking mechanics. The uniforms (in the one pic I was able to open) look like they are black, but the set lighting (and non color-corrected image) makes them look blue. I'm not going by any EU here, so that's my guess.

Well, the difference here (in my mind) is that he was on the attack, rather than getting taken by surprise. I think Ki Adi Mundi, Aayla Secura and the rest of them probably could have taken out clones by the dozens if they were on the attack.

Oh man, I hate these ******* "watchdog" groups. I'd love to get on my soapbox right now, but I don't think this forum is the appropriate place.

The funniest thing about the whole 12.99 Target exclusive clone is that after seeing the movie, I now realize how totally and completely irrelevant it is.  The most important clones are Blue 501st Temple Raid, red shock troops, yellow cody clones, and to a lesser extent Bly's Felucia troops that gunned down Aayla and the frozen Mygeeto troops with Bacarra that killed Ki Adi.

I'm glad I left all that overpriced **** at Target!!

Ok Dressel, we get it. The Target clone is overpriced and you're a martyr for not picking one up. Can we move on now? I generally like your posts, but your harping on this clone is really starting to get irritating.

I like them. I have four, and—even though they weren't in the movie—I still like them.

Well, there's also something to Palpatine being destroyed by his own creation.
