I watched the first three of these last night and enjoyed them. The animation is great. I’m not a big fan of this whole cultural trend of glorifying villains, but they were fun episodes to watch.

I would be willing to bet most of those licensing people at LFL are no longer there at this point.

Yeah great stuff Jeff, thanks. Did not realize we were that close at one point. Even one of them would be better than nothing at this point.

After their comments about the Goblin Queen and Mephisto during the GR HasLab not being something they could do at retail so that was their only option, The Sisters seem like they could fall in the same category.

There’s not a lot left that would get hardcore collectors very excited anymore, but that would do it.

Well, I haven’t had any luck with the FB groups but I have sold a few things on eBay.

I have had two people now reach out to me trying to get me to sell them all my Legos outside of eBay. This seems shady to me and I know eBay frowns on it, so I have rebuffed these kinds of questions so far. Even though it would be nice to forego the 15% seller fees, I feel like this would be opening myself up to more risk as well.

I’ve never had this happen in many years of selling other stuff, so I guess it must be a Lego thing?

I found a bunch of recent 6” figures in the Clearance aisle at Walmart yesterday…including $10 HK droids (the red one), $5 Hunter, $10 Holiday K2-SO, $10 Krssantan, etc. picked up a few just because  :D

We back up?   ;D

What do you guys think of the Cantina? Looks like a giant dust trap that would be hard to display and really needs LED lighting in the individual booths.

Tonnika Tier will guarantee success though  :D

I’m looking forward to watching it later tonight. Shame this show was so underserved in the toy realms.

All because Steve Evans posted “Almost there”?

That and the thing about keeping your comlinks open, which people apparently think is a callback to the trash compactor scene?

I got R4 in the mail from Walmart today and he looks pretty cool. Hopefully the Mando is coming soon too.

Everyone seems convinced now it’s the Death Star.  :P

Hey, Target has a Star Wars sales going right now that includes new preorder stuff. I canceled my original order for the Mandalorian Privateer and R5 pack and re-ordered them under the new sale prices.

I also saw they had the new Paz Vizsla in stock and on sale so I grabbed him too, albeit begrudgingly.

Thanks Nick, appreciate that. Luckily there are no dependents to worry about, my surviving brother and I are just splitting everything 50/50. The only time consideration is how long do I feel like looking at all these boxes in my man cave? Would like to have it all wrapped up by the end of the summer if possible, I think.

We finally finished cleaning out all the non furniture stuff from his last storage bin yesterday, and wouldn’t you know it I found like 12 more mint in box retired SW sets. I catalogued everything last night and I believe the grand total was 104 unopened sets, something like 67 of which were retired SW sets.  :o

The fees I would end up paying on this stuff seemed pretty obscene, so I am rethinking the eBay thing now. I joined a SW Lego collector group on FB last night so hopefully that yields some results. At least there I am only paying for shipping and a 3% PayPal fee. (As opppsed to the 15% or so eBay steals) just wonder how they handle disputes if someone claims they never got something and demands their money back.

All these responses have been very helpful guys, thanks again.

Thank you, Jeff.

Rob, I will let you know about the DSII, it will probably be one of the last things I deal with since it is the largest out of the 70 sets I have to offload.

Ed - thanks for the tip on FB, I think I will test the waters and see how that goes maybe.

Gotta say, going through this has made me realize what a burden this kind of stuff can potentially become for the people who are left behind to deal with everything. Definitely makes me want to have a smaller footprint and also start meticulously cataloging everything “just in case”.

Thanks a lot guys, appreciate that. He was a great guy and I sure do miss him a lot.  :'(

I have thought about FB marketplace but have not had any experience with that. I guess there are some Lego specific e-commerce sites like Brickmarket like I’ve seen recommended. So I may look into that too.
