So this is not going to be the Chopper they promised us on the Mural Card? Boo.

ill be also interested in how they might explain how Ezra survived on the Star Destroyer during their hyperspace flight and then managed to leave the Star Destroyer when they arrived. Maybe Ezra and Thrawn reached some kind of agreement, or Thrawn didn't want to kill him as he might be their only way back with the Purrgil?
I think it goes back to what the Nicks said. Sabine lost everything in the Night of Thousand Tears and now that Ezra is the only family she has left, she isn't willing to sacrifice him. I hope they expand on her loss a bit more than what they did in later episodes, because I felt it was a little glossed over.
I totally agree. The writers have not done a great job of portraying this attachment to Ezra. A casual fan would have a hard time picking this up, and even a hardcore fan like myself having watched every episode of Rebels multiple times didn't carry forward enough of a feeling of attachment between Ezra and Sabine. Ezra seemed to have more of an attachment than Sabine did.
Maybe they needed some flashbacks or some other storytelling trick to tie this all together better. There was a lot more time spent on the Sabine/Ahsoka dynamic and very little on the Sabine/Ezra dynamic.
Prevent another all-out Galactic War by shooting a stupid map.
I'm wondering if a blaster would even destroy that map seeing as it took Baylan's lightsaber several seconds to do it.
Serious question, though, why didn't Ahsoka fight Marrock and Baylan with two lightsabers instead of one? Did one get damaged in the initial fight?
