Much of what I could say has been said already, but man, Andor Season 2 was near perfect in my opinion, especially the last couple of story arcs. It’s so refreshing to see the Star Wars universe imagined as a real place with seriousness and complex and compelling characters. When I finished Episode 12, I immediately brought up Rogue One and watched about the first half hour or so and found that Andor tied perfectly into the movie…

Still as I watch the serious drama playing out across both seasons of Andor, I’m reminded that this show is taking place in the same universe inhabited by Jar Jar Binks and the Ewoks

There it is… maybe.  I woke up to a shipping email from FedEx.  Delivery Wednesday.

Great to hear, Rob! It certainly took Hasbro long enough in your case, but glad you’ve got a shipping notice finally :)

A couple other thoughts: I wonder how the influx of all those Old Republic Credits affected the galactic economy and the New Republic? The show clearly showed that Old Republic credits were highly valued in the New Republic era in the show, but that value would surely plummet with the influx of all those credits that had been hidden for decades on At Attin. There are many historical examples where nations that had a sudden influx of extra cash often met with declining currency values, inflation, and weakened economies…

With a treasure hoard like that, you could afford to build a whole fleet of Star Destroyers equipped with planet killing weapons!  :D  ;)

Awesome point, McMetal 8)

I know we’ve all seen how Dave Filoni, John Farveau, etc. are trying to use some of these live action and animated shows to provide a more logical explanation and foundation for the events in the ST…

I enjoyed the show overall - it actually felt rather refreshing and fun. It definitely added some new elements to the SW universe without horribly rewriting cannon. I’m glad they ended on a strong note as well with no cliffhangers and tying up many of the loose ends (e.g. Jod’s history, At Attin’s purpose, who/what the Commissioner was, etc.)

There are many historical examples where nations that had a sudden influx of extra cash often met with declining currency values, inflation, and weakened economies… That happened with the Spanish Empire in the 1600s due to the influx of silver it got from its South America mines… But I’m thinking too hard there :P

However, it was awesome to see the B-Wing appear in (CGI) live action again after some 42 years and this time show off their heavy firepower 😎

I got my two Ghosts today… And the shipping boxes WAY bigger and heavier than I expected :o

I drive a 2020 Toyota RAV 4 and both boxes barely fit, even with the back seats down!

I had a little adventure with FedEx that I might as well relate… My two Ghosts were coming as two separate FedEx shipments and I knew they were supposed to come this week, per the email I’d received from Hasbro in Christmas Eve. I didn’t get any advance shipping confirmation from Hasbro and I wasn’t checking my tracking only to then find out both parcels had shipped last Friday and that FedEx attempted delivery of at least one package Saturday morning, timing it perfectly to about 10 minutes after I went out on a walk with my dog :P

After getting home and finding the missed delivery slip, I found FedEx tracking via the mobile website to not be helpful, so I downloaded the FedEx app and that provided more detailed information about each shipment and options for rerouting and holding the delivery. I rerouted/held both shipments to my local FedEx store, signed up for all the notifications I could get for each shipment, and got confirmation they were delivered today… Then Hasbro sent me the email saying my order had shipped :P

Anyways, I picked up both packages Monday evening at the FedEx store, causing a free stares from other patrons as I wheeled out both packages to my car.

I’m glad to finally have the Ghost 8)

Okay so now I’m home from vacation and am still stuck on Label-Created.

So now I get to go from patient to annoyed.  When is this thing shipping?!  I suppose they’re not shipping in the order that orders came in, I am pretty sure I backed it in the first couple of minutes.

Rob, did you ever get an email from Hasbro like the one I got a week ago on December 24? (Reference a few posts above). Mine is supposed to ship the week of January 13, presumably. My shipping labels were created nearly a month ago, but have had no updates. Yeah, I can wait, but it’s still annoying as heck…

Thanks for that intel, Jeff! I’ve seen in a couple Facebook groups that there’s more than a few collectors in the same boat (pun not quite intended, lol). Its annoying for sure but not the end of the world…

Well fudge  >:(

Got this message in an email from Hasbro Pulse this afternoon. Has anyone else received a similar message?

Not a happy camper.

The FedEx app is still showing my ghost shipment with the same status it’s had for at least a week - status of label created with delivery details to be updated soon. Not that I’m in a rush, lol.

If you have an account with Fed Ex you can check and see if a label has been created.

One step closer.

Great idea, Matt_Fury! I checked my FedEx account and my two Ghosts have their labels created as well. I will need to redirect my deliveries as well given these will almost certainlyrequire a signature.

First impression after watching the first couple of episodes is this is not a bad show at all. Like Ryan noted above, I had low expectations going in, but was pleasantly surprised. It is definitely family/kid oriented show and very much has a Goonies or 1980s kids adventure movie vibe. Good athletics and set designs and the kids acted well and weren’t annoying. Lots of callbacks and Easter eggs as well. The opening sequence with the pirate raid had an ANH vibe to it, right down to some of the dialogue. And did anyone catch the kids watching those holographic circus performers from the SW Holiday Special?

The strangest parts for me were seeing what amounts to a regular middle class neighborhood/town and school in the Star Wars universe. It seemed too earth like in a way, but then why couldn’t something like that exist on some planet in that universe? Also, apparently “Star Wars” style action figures of Jedi and villains are an in-universe thing now ;D

I like how he said Hera’s cabin was on one side and “the rest of the crew” on the other side. Dude, there are 5 people on that ship! The other 4 didn’t all share one bunk bed!  :D

Little disappointed they did not add any weathering on the bottom of the ship, but otherwise looks nice.

I really like the Jazzwares Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron Ghost. It’s got more interior than the Haslab version and is more closely scaled to the figures. The Phantom Shuttle made for it is a tad large, but that has the interior and cockpit, etc. as well. The MGS Ghost has the full cockpit and forward gun station, boarding ramp, 4x crew cabins, passageways to the side airlocks, turret, and the full rec room. Integrated lights and sounds too. It has weathering applications as well and looks the part.

This is not to bash the Haslab TVC Ghost - it looks massive and wonderful all the same - but the MGS version sure is nice

Got both those emails as well, so I’m definitely thinking a December delivery date… I watched the unboxing video as well and the ship is massive!

Chiming in her a couple months after the fact; however, I got this set back at the beginning of September, but didn’t open it until earlier this week after I received the new E-Wing. They are great figures and I’m actually glad to have some generic New Republic pilots not representing any specific characters. I also like how they’re the new style of pilot body that’s a little thinner, highly articulated, and easier to fit in most cockpits. My only gripe is I wish they’d included a holster accessory for the blasters made a distinctly female body for the two female pilots - kind of like what was done in some of those pilot battle packs way back during the Legacy Collection days. Still, I can never seem to get enough pilot figures, so this was definitely a great set 8)

My E-Wing came via the Disney Store today 8)

It’s a great toy/model! I’ve wanted a 3.75” scale E-Wing since the 1990s and Hasbro did not disappoint.

It is highly detailed, well painted, though not much weathering. I love the sliding canopy and fully retractable landing gear. Detail levels compare with the TVC Poe Dameron T-70 X-Wing. The KE4-N4 droid looks great. I’m using one of the New Republic pilots from the X-Wing Pilot 4-Pack figure set. They look the part and are easy to fit into the narrow cockpit.

I didn’t get my Hasbro pulse order cancelled in time and so will be getting a couple more… Now to decide what to do with them. Nonetheless, I’m glad to finally have a completely new starfighter in my collection!
