That really, really sucks, bro. But look on the bright side...at least you have some Walmarts around you. There's none of them around NYC. I'd give up my Tibanna Gas Mine for a Walmart! :D

Hell, I'm a graphic designer and I feel that all written material should be correct. Spelling and grammar aren't just important for people with an editorial background, its the language you communicate in. If you don't care enough to make certain your spelling is correct, then you're doing yourself a disservice.

Galactic Hunter is reporting that there will be an ANH Luke and Vader released using the Commtech Tattoine Luke, and the MOTDS Vader. Bravo Hasbro. I think its good to keep a Luke and Vader on the pegs for kids to pick up, and these are nice versions of both.

Oh no no no no no no no......no photos of me in there. :-X

I just heard Carrie talking about being a photographer and then "Playgirl", so I mentioned the company.

I'm an Art Director in the adult publishing industry, though I also work as a freelance Graphic Designer/Illustrator. I'm looking to move into (mainstream) package design very soon. I started working at this company about 3 years ago (straight out of college) just for the health insurance while I looked for a mainstream job. However, in this economy it seems lucky just to have a job.

thanks cc your not to bad your self(flirt flirt) on that day i had forgot to shave and had to have my spotlight photos done so im not on top form there

Well, the scruffy look is something you can definitely work with in acting. so forgetting to shave that day may have not been a bad thing. My interest in photography compels me to ask if you've got any photos of yourself from perhaps a Playgirl magazine layout? (please, nobody ban me  :))

Actually Carrie, while I don't work on that particular publication, my company publishes Playgirl.

My only regret with this set is that the Warrior Alien from "Aliens" was not included instead of the one from "Alien:Resurrection".

Lando, I'm glad you gave that awesome review and it's great seeing my favorite scoundrel get excited about the hobby again.  Now I need to find these too! :P

Thanks CHEWIE! Its been sooooooo long since I've found anything, that this was such a great SW collecting moment for me. I totally felt like a kid again! :D

I literally have to hold myself back from buying more of these guys. I've got 2 of the 2-pack (1 Alien, 1 Predator),  2 Dog Aliens, 1 Alien Warrior (hoping they release the Alien Warrior from "Aliens"), 2 Pred the Hunters, and 2 of the masked Pred....and the Queen to top it all off!

I did a head swap on one pair of the MM6 Preds though, so one of the masked Preds has no blood on it, and one of the open mouthed Preds has the removeable arm and looks like he's screaming in pain. Sweeeeeeet.

I'd really like to see McToys continue the Aliens and Predator figures in their own line. They did such a great job with these, now I want to see the Predator from the first movie with the MM6 articulation. And some skulls.

Yeah, I was happier than I expected with this set. I still would have bought more than one but for the Vader figure. Still might pick another up and do some custom with that Vader armor.  ;D

The lamest complaint I've heard about this set is the inclusion of the WEB cannon. Some just can't get past the idea that this is just a weapon and wasn't necessarily exclusive to one planet. Some people have no imagination, but my kids certainly didn't mind putting the stormtrooper and Vader behind it.

(See, Vader ordered the stormtrooper to shoot down that TIE Bomber that was stolen by a rebel operative masquerading as an AT-ST driver but everyone knows stormies can't hit the broad side of a bantha so Vader tossed the soldier out of the way, took control of the cannon, and brought down the bomber himself!)

Sweeeet! Yeah, the EWEB is definitely an all-climates weapon. That was even the case when I played with the vintage figures (though they were new at the time). Good to hear your kids have great imaginations, PL! :D

The mouth makes a repeating noise when you hold down the tongue, like a dog when you're playing "tug-o-war" with one of those rope toys...just a constant stream of growling.

The button on the side makes two other noises. I've never really find a way to make it always do one or always do the other, it just seems random.

I could have also entitled this thread "Imperial 4-pack renews Lando's hope in SW collecting". I feel like this is the first SW figure I've gotten since....oh, before you were born...

I found a few of these last night at TRU in Times Square, NY. I bought 2, despite their pricetag (possibly the only thing I didn't like about the set). I'm psyched with this 4-pack. Despite the fact that Vader isn't an army builder, he is the best Vader we have so far...and when I swap heads with the upcoming removeable helmet Vader, and give him softgoods cape and robes, he'll be the ultimate Vader...

The stormtrooper, who many of you know has knee articulation, can be posed perfectly with the E-WEB tripod cannon. I can't believe this wasn't brought up in any of the reviews on the collecting sites. He looks great. If you have more than one of the stormie, you can pose the other futzing around with the power supply. The E-WEB is a two man operation, apparently. Either that or the Stormtroopers have a pretty good union.

I didn't need another Interrogation droid or mouse droid, but hey, they look good in the background. And if the Empire ever needs to run interrogations en masse, I'll be set.

Couldn't be happier with the R4 unit...now I won't have to paint my own!

Despite the compaints I've heard about the quality of the plastic on the AT-ST driver, I'm very pleased with these as well. I don't have a problem with the plastic on this, as he'll just be window dressing when he's not completely obscured inside the AT-ST. Plus, if you think he looks bad, perhaps you should take a look at this...

I know, I know....that was cruel.

Lastly, it was a great idea on Hasbro's part to throw us a bone and give us some stands for once! Bravo Hasbro, bravo...

Mine was cracked right out of the package, Jesse. There was a crack in the area of the battery cover for some reason. I just superglued it and its been fine since, but obviously the quality control on this $9 figure leaves much to be desired.
