And I'm still waiting for Kneel Before Zod to get up on the soapbox and explain to me how Kevin and I rigged a football draft order (that Zod provided 1/2 the input for) and yet Kevin still wound up with 8th pick overall.
I was pretty clear when I said that I wasn't accusing anyone of anything - what I did was point out a way that your perfect random system isn't so perfect - and that is the second time today that someone has pointed out a flaw in it.
So you'll just have to keep on waiting for that explanation.
There is no flaw in the system, there is a set way that this has been done in every league that I ran, with the same consistent results. The PMs are orignal and untampered with, and they are utilized the same way every time 2 lists are matched together. I don't know what that elaborate second scenario is that Jeff posted, but that was never used in a league that I have run.
Scott got a first pick in baseball, Chris got one in football, and now I got one in basketball.
Look at Famine's track record, he got a 3rd in baseball, an 8th in football, and now a 2nd in basketball.
I don't see the cause for alarm, this has always worked fine.
I cannot retract a draft order that has already been worked out, regardless of what number I drew. How about the guy who has 4th pick now, and when Dale or Yahoo or whatever unnecessary plot you want to draw up for a "new" draft order comes to pass, gets 12th pick. That's fair?
I'm all for making changes in the way we do things or the way we score things or whatever in each sport, but not after the fact in the current year. That's the big difference between me and you, I'm not changing things after the fact, but we can employ new things for next year.
