Loose figures are $6.00 shipped ($5.00 shipped for astromechs and Ewoks). Accessories are missing for a few of them but most are complete. What you see is what you get.

The Legacy Collection / Ten Figures You're Thankful For?
« on: November 27, 2008, 04:02 PM »
Despite the summer drought, this year brought some amazing figures. I know my mental list of top ten favorites of all time (at least the ones that I own) has certainly changed since last time I thought about it.

My list as of August 2007:

1. Saga2 Nabrun Leids
2. Saga2 Foul Moudama
3. TAC Jawa w/LIN Droid
4. VTAC Snowtrooper
5. VTAC IG-88
6. TPM Graxol Kelvyyyn
7. VTSC Biker Scout
8. POTJ FX-7
9. Saga Ashla & Jempa
10. TAC Darth Vader

As of now it's WAY different, probably something like this:

1. POTF2 Max Rebo
2. Saga2 Nabrun Leids
3. TLC General Obi-Wan Kenobi
4. TCW Plo Koon
5. TAC Roron Corobb
6. TLC Yarna D'al Gargan
7. TAC Felucian Warrior
8. TLC Mon Calamari Warrior
9. TLC Arvel Crynyd
10. TSC Foul Moudama
HONORABLE MENTION
TLC General Saesee Tiin
TLC Padme Amidala (Ilum)
TLC Clone Scuba Trooper
TCW Ahsoka Tano w/Rotta the Huttlet
TAC Jawa w/LIN Droid

Anyone else keep a mental list of their favorite figures? Any changes in this last year? Do I just have way too much time on my hands? :)

Modern Classifieds / Indy Troop Car For Sale (incomplete)
« on: October 23, 2008, 10:40 PM »
I have a Troop Car from the Indy line, but I used the ridiculously oversized gun to customize a Star Wars ship. So, I'm selling the incomplete vehicle for $10 plus shipping costs. The barrels and break-apart thing also aren't included. This would make a great base for Indy/military collectors to customize or just display as-is. PM me if you're interested!

I want to build a Wookiee army. I am interested in trading my crap for the following figures, all of which can be loose/mint/complete. If you're open to doing a trade, feel free to rip me off, I will be very generous if it means acquiring more Wookiees. Although I would prefer to trade, I will buy for a reasonable price if you don't see anything on my list in the link that you're interested in. Here are the figures I'm interested in:

ROTS Sneak Preview Wookiee Warrior x2
ROTS Wookiee Warrior - x4 brown, x4 tan
ROTS Wookiee Commando x1
ROTS Wookiee Heavy Gunner x2
TAC Force Unleashed Battle Pack Wookiee Warriors - x6 each

If you can help me out, I will be eternally grateful. Here's a link to my Feedback.

Thanks for looking!

Conventions / San Jose SUPER TOY, COMIC & RECORD SHOW
« on: September 6, 2008, 08:53 PM »
This morning I went to a toy show that I had completely forgotten about until today. It was held at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. It was very cool and there was a lot to see, but I ended up spending all my money at one booth, filling some major holes in my collection at an amazing price!

POTF2 Max Rebo Band Pairs (Set of 3) - $15
POTF2 Oola & Slacious Crumb - $3
POTF2 R2-D2 w/Holographic Leia - $3
POTF2 Wuher - $3
loose POTF2 Tantive IV - FREE with all the other crap!!!!

I would've bought more, but I'm on a tight budget right now. Still, I am happier than a pig in **** to finally have the Max Rebo Band. Other neat sightings included tons of carded vintage figures, a lot of Comic-Con stuff, the thrird Legacy wave in its entirety, some Marvel Mighty Muggs that were really tempting, and much more. I had a great time.

There's another show on December 6th if anyone's interested, I know I'll definitely be there.

The Bullpen / Marvel Mighty Muggs
« on: August 23, 2008, 08:40 PM »
Please merge this with the other Marvel Toys thread if it should be included there instead.

I stumbled upon a Spiderman Mighty Mugg at TRU today hidden on the top shelf and just couldn't pass it up. This is my second Marvel Mugg, I also have Iron Man. I've never been a huge superhero fan but I like a few of them enough to buy in Mugg form.

Anyone else buying stuff from this line?

Collections / David's Collection - 8/13/08 - PIC HEAVY!
« on: August 13, 2008, 09:22 PM »
I got bored and decided to go check out my old collection photos. Yuck. Very, very outdated. So I took some new ones! Enjoy and LMK what you think!

I'm very happy with my collection at the moment. I gotta admit, if I have a favorite part it's the Muggs and the Indy stuff. Oh and the Mygeeto Bridge diorama.

There are some major holes I wish I could fill. Vogel, who is currently on his way from JACKOFTRADZE as a matter of fact. Stormtrooper, Obi-Wan, and Jango Mighty Muggs, to complete the first four waves. And the rest of the SE Max Rebo Band for the Jabba's Palace/Cantina/Alien Freaks section I've accumulated. Oh well, when it starts raining twenty dollar bills I may be able to eventually make all these dreams a reality. :-\

A few forum members here have contributed majorly to my collection since last time I posted collection pics in 200(6?). Darth_Anton made the quickly growing Imperial Army you see here possible through a very, very generous trade when he was trying to get of some of his billion Commtech stormtroopers. Also, I've bought/traded for a lot of this stuff from JACKOFTRADZE. We've had around, I dunno, umpteen transactions here so a lot of my stuff was from him. And of course, yours truly, David, who got himself a summer job to pay for most of the 7/26 and Indy stuff. It turns out paychecks make a lot more things possible as far as supporting a dorky fun hobby goes, so that was very nice.

Well, I hope you guys enjoy the new pics. Once again, LMK what you think! :)

The Legacy Collection / Legacy Collection Pegwarmers?
« on: August 1, 2008, 10:48 AM »
I figured it was time to start a pegwarmers thread, since I've started to see a lot of the following since 7/26:

Obi-Wan Kenobi (3D)
Anakin Skywalker (3D)
General Obi-Wan Kenobi
IG Lancer Droid
Obi-Wan Kenobi's Jedi Starfighter (Blue)
Evolutions Fett Legacy
Evolutions Padme

The Quad Cannon Trooper, Sandstorm Luke, and the Wokling are the only three figures I still haven't seen anywhere at this point.

Anyone else noticing any trends where they live?

The Legacy Collection / ICMG, Yarna...now what?
« on: July 5, 2008, 02:46 PM »
I wasn't quite sure where to put this, so hopefully this will be okay here. I was just thinking about how many new figures Hasbro has given us just in the last two years, of characters collectors have been asking for for ages. ICMG, Yarna, CZ-4, Wulf Yularen, Academy Biggs, etc...So I was wondering...who are we as collectors gonna stand behind now, and possibly wait years and years to finally see made? Sure, that's what the wishlist poll is for, but ICMG and Yarna in particular just seemed to have a huge huge following of epic proportions.

Basically, can there ever be another 'ICMG?' Will there ever be? And if so, who?

I dunno, I've just really been thinking about this, especially now that it sounds like another official Fan's Choice Contest is on its way. Your thoughts?

Well of the Souls / Worried about Marion(s)...
« on: June 10, 2008, 12:43 AM »
From ActionFigs.com:

From the Indy line, any plans for more Marion Ravenwood figures such as Marion in white dress, Marion from the bar scene, and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Marion? It'd be a good chance to work on the character's likeness, which the current figure doesn't capture all that well.

Hasbro: We do have plans for another Marion figure - white dress. Like Toht, she was originally to be one of our Vintage wave figures, but when we scrapped the idea both she and Toht became great figures for our first Spring '09 wave. As for other Marions down the road? Quite possibly depending on how the line does long term, but it is our intent to spread the character focus around for 2009 to broadly cover as many characters as we can.

AAHH!!!! I can't imagine never getting a KotCS Marion and I really was hoping we would get the Marion from Nepal as well. Those are really the only Marions there are to be made into figures, but what if (worst case scenario) the line really does wnd in 2009/2010 like a lot of people have been predicting? How would you guys feel about never seeing these other two Marions? :'(
