Solo: A Star Wars Story / Re: Retail Prices/Sales/Discounts

And I've been army building (on a budget) with the Kessel guards.

I like those Kessel guards. Thought about but haven't put much effort into customizing a Han in Kessel guard uniform and helmet.

Other Collectibles / Re: Galaxy of Adventures 5" Figures

Rebelscum posted some TROS figures found in Canada

I know I'm biased, but holy crap do these look bad. The masked / non-human ones don't look too bad, but the human faces of Rey and Finn stylistically look awful.

I was flipping the channels, saw a commercial for the animated series, and was impressed enough by the style that I was open to collecting the figures. Then I saw the same pics you did. The ugly changed my mind quick.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Disney+ Streaming Service

Even if I lose interest in their originals debuting on the service, Disney has such a massive library. And to be able to download them and watch whenever, wherever...?

If only they'll take my money. Right now my card isn't going through. I haven't been notified by my bank that there's a problem with the card, so maybe a lingering issue from when the D23 site was flooded with people signing up for the offer.

Other Toy Lines / Re: What Toyline Would You Most Like to See?

I can go for Hasbro-style 3.75" of these sci-fi properties.
BSG (70s)
Buck Rogers (70s)
Flash Gordon (80s movie)
Planet of the Apes (60s, 70s)
Clash of the Titans (70s?)
Star Trek
Doctor Who -- Character Options' 3.75" offering was a nice try but short-lived and the humans underwhelming.

Also cool would be a smattering of figures from the Sinbad movies (pirate/adventurer, not comedian); The Black Hole droids; Enemy Mine.

Did they explode all of the landmines? Some poor soul is going to think they found sanctuary only to get shot sky high like Wiley Coyote.

Humans can design video camera batteries that continue to charge for over 5 years but can't develop a cure for zombie-ism?

Their numbers are growing like crazy. I only hope that means major culling leading up to the season finale.  >:D

They did announce (to backers) that Left Coast Graphics will be producing a bookmark in the same vein as their Classic Kenner Vintage Stickers, but "with a TVC twist"

Sounds interesting. I'm going to have to scour my email or the kickstart page for that tidbit.

I wonder if they'll offer up the gold coins as a purchase option to US backers. I can just imagine variant hunters going nuts on the secondary market.

Three left at amazon for $24.49 each, shipping included.

$231,249. Over 4x the initial ask! Congratulations to Blue Milk for coming up with a product that's enthused so many in the community. One stretch goal after another met. Looking forward to the chapter on concepts, the poster, the coins... man, all of it. Can't wait for the book to arrive. Btw, any secret prize for hitting $225k?  :P

Can you try dipping it in very warm water?

Did this just start today? It's almost funded.

I like the idea of potential follow-up volumes being all-new material instead of a re-hash + new.

Service-wise, from order to drop-off, I rate this 9/10. Ordering was easy, delivered on estimated date, and the condition of the item was as if I had my choice from a just-stocked shelf at a store. And the delivery notification was prompt. The one knock is for the lateness of the email with shipment info, which only hit my inbox overnight.

342
I missed out on the pre-orders but they now look readily available online. I just ordered 2 and have them set to ship to my local Target. Simple. Convenient.

Are you listening, Walmart!?

For the acid heads in the audience?

No sightings of the red a-wing at Ross as reported in the thread about the red a-wing, but did come across 3.75" Val, Beckett, and Rio Durant ($5) and another batch of at-st walkers ($10).
