A pleasant surprise. Would love a blurrg, which will probably have a different head, arm or tail tilt from a (hopefully-in-the-pipeline) mass release.

I'll echo the carded jawa. Big bang for the buck.

Very glad that I didn't miss out on the initial offering and relieved I don't have to track it down later.

Today was an expensive day.

A blue-suited variation would be very cool.

I would be all over these if I had jumped on the first two waves. Right now I'm on the fence. Numbers probably won't meet demand -- and I don't blame Hasbro for wanting to avoid a glut of figures that'll end up at discount chains -- so I'll probably miss out anyway. I'll be happy if they just bring on new TVC.

A few observations.

1) The head attaches with a barbell/double ball-and-socket joint. Makes sense if Hasbro goes to a universal head attachment even if it means one extra piece per figure.

2) Saw some reviews on youtube that Five's helmet gets stuck on his head. While my Five's helmet is a little more snug on Five and Echo, luckily it doesn't get jammed. Echo's and Jesse's helmet fits fine over Echo and Five's head.

3) These guys are noticeably shorter than Commander Wolffe. I wonder if they were inadvertently scaled to Temuera Morrison's actual height instead of the onscreen 6'. Oddly, the head on these three are ever so slightly bigger than Wolffe's.

I'm a big fan of the animated clones getting a real-life treatment. Hope we see more.

Not Star Wars but peripherally related. I'm sure most of us bought them as custom fodder. Some are cool just as they are.  Look up chap mei on the sold listings on eBay.

Hard to believe there is a market for these. They won't break the bank but it's surprising that loose items typically fetch above their original retail price.

And then boxed sets like the liopleurodon or elasmosaurus going for $100 shipped is mind-blowing.

I have World Beyond on the DVR, We'll watch it tonight.

I see the commercials and I get the same snore fest vibe I felt after 5 mins of 'Caprica'. Is it worth the watch?

Take the last season, break it into two half-season pieces airing over two years and use the extra time in-between to milk the hell out of reruns and marathons to pull as much cash out of the dying cow as you can before it's over.   :-X

Don't forget the Carol/Daryl roadshow spin off and the Rick Grimes (made-for-tv/streaming??) movies.

Although it would be really easy to be cynical and say they designed and planned this all along, so the unlock is largely for show.

I'm leaning this way, but I'm predictable.  :-*

Hope they open up the flood gates for the 10k unlock, but this item is pretty cool as it is. Can't wait to get it.

I likely would have passed had I not blinked and missed out on the Mandalorian pre-order last December. I know there are currently 2nd-chance offerings online, and the potential of it hitting regular retail, but $14 + shipping -- for a regular! -- is more than the $18 for one carbonized.

Too bad Walmart's free shipping doesn't kick in until $35. So to capitalize on the freebie delivery, I had to get a 2nd figure. I mean, if you think about it, Walmart's practically giving away half of one figure.

And, well, 2 is already half way there, might as well get the other two.

This is the way.

Yeah, I didn't see the Mandalorian become available until 1:09/1:10 Pacific.

It'd be funny if bots grabbed them all only to have those orders cancelled by Walmart and figures put back in stock.

A Haslab Cantina might also be a vehicle to get some of those "blink and you'll miss them" Cantina aliens that have been eluding collectors for a long time as well.

A cantina playset wouild be great. I was thinking, though, that it could be released through regular retail as connectable bite-size portions ala the Jabba palace, carbonite, and Tantive corridor sets.

I believe you are referring to the work over at "Star Wars Plastic Playsets." That Death Star is truly an achievement.

Yes, that's the one! Thanks.

A guy from a youtube video source of mine says that the project will be a playset/diorama, and it's not the Death Star.

That said, several weeks ago I happened across someone's facebook page. He designed and 3d printed a Death Star playset. It's like the Emperor's version of the Malibu Dreamhouse.

He has a couple of minor misgivings, but this thing is still impressive.

I'll try to hunt down the page. He uploaded the files for anyone ambitious enough to spend the next few months printing it out.

I think Nick just came up with Hasbro's latest product -- edible action figures.
