One of the interesting things about the PT is that it seems to mature with Anakin. In TPM, we have a more lighthearted "kiddie" movie for a ten year old kid. In AOTC we have a more angst-ridden lovestruck teen movie for an angst-ridden lovestruck teenager. ROTS sounds like a journey through hell, for a man going through hell. I'm really starting to like the contrast.

I just inundated myself with the spoilers from main page of MilleniumFalcon.com, and I had an intersting idea. I'm sure someone else has drawn this conclusion, but I haven't seen it anywhere.

In the spoilers, there's the idea that Darth Sidious was the apprentice of Darth Plagueis. Apparently, Darth Plagueis learned to control the force to create life. Sidious learned the technique from him before he killed him. I then started thinking about the whole "virgin birth" thing, and wondered if we'll be discovering that Sidious created Anakin through the force. It certainly would be the "holy ****" moment we've been missing with the PT.

Anyone else thought about this?

The Barc trooper looks like he has one pose...sitting. Same for the Obi-Wan that comes with the lizard thing. I guess we're going back to the days of ****** pack-ins. The best pack-in we got with a vehicle, in my opinion, was the Maul with Sith Speeder. That was a decent pack-in figure.

Basically, I'm really excited about alot of the basic figures. Those jedi figures that were action posed in 2002 look really great as normal action figures now (Luminara, Eeoth Koth, Shaak Tii).

That's true, but I live in Astoria, Queens, so I'd have to either cut across Manhattan or go through it. Still, I'm going to be heading into Jersey this weekend for a relative's birthday, so maybe I'll see if there's a walmart along the route.

Now I'm ******* psyched for Episode 3 figures.

These are going to look so good in my collection. Its always been a sore point that I have all these figures standing normally, and then there's a half a shelf of action-posed partial statues. These will replace those nicely, and allow me to use the action posed figures in more a diorama setting.

I think with a lot of Three Stooges moves I could take out a pretty sizeable group. But you're also going to have a problem with the ground being very soggy with tears. Five year olds cry alot.

Are the five year olds armed?

Are they trying to crush me to death or just grab on and tire me out? I need to know more about the enemy's strategy.

Edit: Now the pic seems to be loading correctly. At work, all I was seeing was a photo of a guy's ass with a kitten jumping out of it. You had me scared for a bit there, Scott!
