Mine showed up a day early, but unfortunately no one was home to sign for it.  I am hoping the shut the office early today due to ice so I can get home and wait for him.

A miracle occured of my local Walmarts actually got in some Wave 8, 9, and 10 figures. I am now caught up except for:

068: Padmé Amidala (Geonosis)

I picked up a couple extra of the harder to find figures and have:

065 Elite Corp's Clone Trooper
074 R4-M6 Mace Windu's Astromech Droid

They were $6.63 each. I will give priority to anyone who has the last figure I need for a trade.

LEGO / Re: UCS Millenium Falcon

I just preordered this bad boy.  I'm not sure where I'll put it...I still haven't reassembled my UCS Star Destroyer and Tantive IV since when I moved about three years ago.  This set is going to take massive amounts of time to assemble.

Got my shipping notices for both Jabba and the throne this morning.  The fat bastard should be here on Wednesday.  ;D

And I still don't know where I'm going to put him.

Same thing for me on both points.  I'm thinking about putting away some of the Lego stuff to make room for all the Sideshow 12" stuff.

Vintage Kenner / Re: Latest vintage acquisition

I was wondering the same thing about hammerhead.  I see a lot of vintage collectors with like ten variations on a figure that I would think are just bad paint applications and not legit variations like the Yoda snake color, Lando w/ and w/o teeth etc.  One guy I saw said he had like 12 different X-wing Luke variations which I thought were really paint apps.

You can almost guarentee that Sideshow will do these figures at some point.

I guess I see it the other way, why spend the money to tool them when you can sell and make money off of the Medicom versions?

If they spend the money to tool one, they can get several figures with only slight modifications.  I think they would make more money making their own versions than putting a mark up on the RAH figures.

Modern Classifieds / WTB Wave 9 and 10 Figures

I'm looking to buy the last two waves of figures:

Wave 9 (figures TSC #063 thru #069) - two of each except only one the Padme
Wave 10(Walmart exclusive figures TSC #070 thru #074) - one of each except Mace's astromech and Aurra Sing which I need two of each.

My area is hopefully clogged with Greatest Hits and the newest figures I have seen were a brief appearance of the Ebooine wave one or twice at KB.  Any help would be appreciated.

Geez, am I the only one who likes this set?  This is an item that collectors have wanted for quite some time and the only thing we have seen made is the 3 3/4" version that came with the Chewie figure.  I think people need to give this some time before they get all bent out of shape about it not coming with figures.  There has already been cease and desist letters sent out about posting the picture.

As for the medicom thing...they are outside the US and thus can make those figures without infringing on Sideshows license for 12" figures.  You can almost guarentee that Sideshow will do these figures at some point.  When Sideshow annouced the 12" line, I believe they stated they would do six lines of figures.  Currently we have Jedi, Sith, Scum & Villiany, Heros of the Rebellion, and Military.  Military could cover clones and stormtroopers.  Scum could cover Boba and Jango Fett.  I would guess the last line could be droids.

I think that figure looks like a cross between Keifer and James Hetfield from Metallica.

THX is a good guy who I have traded with in the past at another site.  Don't be worried about trading or purchasing from him.

Find out which bands are turning your children gay.

Hmm...Elton John and Indigo Girls must turn you super gay since they are on the list twice.

Metallica is a surprise...I mean they've turned into huge wusses over the past decade and a half, but not gay.

I got that e-mail as well, but at the same time I got 3 shipping confirmations. 1 i know is for Legolas, but i have no idea what the other 2 are. Could Jabba and probe droids already shipped?

I just got the e-mail for the throne.  ;D

I got both the Jabba and throne emails as well.  I guess we'll probably see Boushh in a few days.  I believe Sideshow's motto should be, When it rains, it pours.  Makes more sense then the salt company.

No, not even long time fans I think saw this coming! That was totally from left field! I mean all we saw of Paul Crane was that he was one of the jugglers directing President Logan on what to do! But that's it, nothing to even hint that he was Jack's brother.

I have watched every season and I was still like holy **** when Jack called him.  My wife had forgotten who the guy was from last season so she didn't understand why I was freaking out about it.

Missed Sunday night's opener because our power went out 15 minutes before 8pm and was out for almost two hours.

They had a commercial on Monday saying that they would sell the first four hours on DVD starting yesterday.  Kind of a pain to have to go pay for a disc, but that is an option if you really need to see it.
