I don't really now if the helmet thing changes anything for me. I know the price is high for just 4 figures that are worth anything in this set. You really can't even give the Palpatine and Vader away now a days ::). Even kids have five or six of them in their collections.

Anyway all that aside, isn't it odd to get Vader is this set when he never set foot on the planet they trained on? The Emperior I can see, but not Vader. Could have save money and offered another color of the Guard. I guess it's too much to ask Hasbro to be accurate.

This set doesn't do anything for me. I would be interested in the sarlacc if anyone wants the other stuff. It will save me on work to build one for myself.

I never thought that was a womp rat. I thought they were smaller? It is cool they offered something different in this set. Would have been really cool to get a better Owen and Beru though. I'll be getting this when I see it. I really like the homestead.

Only think that bugs me about this set is the Female Troopers weapon. A reused GI Joe weapon from 89. I wonder if it has the word Fang on it still? Hasbro really pulls all the stops for us don't they ::).

This wave is a winner with me. I wish they would have done Luke & Han Stormtrooper like this a long time ago. Would have never got the Comic pack version and put all the work I did into them. Oh well, I guess they always find some way to screw up ::).

These are by far the best value now a days. The figures they put into them have been really cool lately. I'm not a big fan of EU stuff other than the games, but I'm all for these and more if Hasbro keeps this up. Now only if Hasbro would not paint these figures in odd colors any more and lose the POTF2 molds, they would be the best of all. I will get that Ewok pack though. They just need to repaint them.

Don't get Hasbro the idea :-X. That is all we need for another sub par RFT. I don't want anything but a resculpt RFT in the way he should be.

If they want to single card that Tech with some tools and maybe a droid lift or anything else in the ANH hanger bay than cool, but no trying to fit that figure in anywhere he doesn't belong.

I would expect the helmets to be removable and I have to say that that was the only thing that I thought might be worth picking up the set for. But then I realized; that's quite an expense just for 4 heads.

Very true, as they are about $7 apiece, if you add in the Palpatine and Vader.

I'm not knocking this set, but it really lacks :-\. Why offer Palpatine and Vader once again ::)? I don't think I can stomach another Vader for a very long time ::).  I'm really done with him until something new in figure making comes along. And that version of Palpatine is there too.

I wonder if the helmets are removable? Might add something to this set worth picking up. I like that they are trying to give us something new, but the whole rainbow trooper thing is getting old ::). I'm even cutting back on the Clone and not even coming near the Stormtroopers in rainbow colors ::).

Another awesome trade with JACKOFTRADZE. Again items receive in great condition and fast from him. Very smooth deal. Great guy to deal with and I would deal with him any time. With 10 pages of feedback whats not to trust. Would also highly recommend him to anyone, like his feedback doesn't speak for itself ;). Thanks again JACKOFTRADZE.

I see this will save me much cash too, as I'm not pleased with the price hike. The action feature thing depending on how it's done with make or brake this line. Not a fan of the action features, so this will be a big factor on what I will get if anything at $8 each. On the cartoony factor, I'll have to reserve judgement until I see pictures ;).

As for vehicles, I already cut all the not scale items out. Even if they don't look right, but might be scale I don't buy. Vehicles in themselves are not that great. Most are to toyish for me and there is not enough cool things, ie access panels, engine access, etc to make them attractive to me. How they even work the pack-ins now a days even is not a selling point to me, as sometime down the road the pack-in will be carded or reused somewhere ::).

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: McQuarrie 2009?
« on: February 14, 2008, 02:27 AM »
I would like to see this concept line continue. Even if the focus is not McQuarrie's work. There is just so many cool concepts for Star Wars. Plus nothing seems out of place with the basic line. If the do come out with more, I would like the focus to be aliens more so that the main characters we got this year.

Awsome guy this Master_Phruby. Always very smooth transaction, with items received from him in great condition. One of the best with great communication and always willing to help. He helped me put a big smile on my daughters face and you can't beat that ;D. Thanks again Master_Phruby and again if you need anything, just say the word.
