Thanks for doing that Jeff.   So really we’ll be able to try to predict something out of these numbers at the end of a week.  Maybe it’s ahead of the barge at the moment and too soon to tell how it’ll compare to the other ones.

Did the TBS offerings track the same as each other, I assume at a slower rate?

It looks like for TVC if the offering hits 45-55% before the last week starts then it should fund.

One way I'm looking at collector math is that if this funds and I've got FOMO (right now I'm leaning towards not funding it), I guess I can sell my original gunship for about $250, assuming values don't change with the funding of this.  That would mean the new one will only cost me $250 or so.  Still more than I want to pay for a better version of something I already think is good enough.

Same.  It's weird but I almost have this "sad" feeling about not backing this on day 1.   Like I'm letting down my friend by not supporting him for the first time in a long, long time.

I used to get all the Topps Star Wars sets but got burnt out by repetition and other things with each set that I stopped collecting them.  Similar happened to me with Black Series and now with Vintage (still collecting, but don't have the FOMO anymore).  To be honest, once I stopped, I don't really miss it.

I think this will be the first TVC HasLab I pass on as well, for many of the reasons already stated in this thread. When I heard this as one of the rumors, I was slightly tempted since my old Gunship got sold off in one of my great purges to help out with some large vet bills. But, for the same reasons everyone stated, I’m probably out.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m sure it will look outstanding, these things always do. Just rather put that money somewhere else, and I really, really don’t have the room for this. Heck, my Ghost is still in the box as well since I don’t know where to put it right now aside from the floor. Plus I have a Cantina coming as well. I always intended to keep up with all the OT stuff, and the rest would be case by case. I do get the FOMO. or “sad” feeling Jeff mentioned.like I’m a bad Star Wars fan or something 😉

Here are the non-TVC SW HasLab numbers...

Rancor - 3900 in the first week (46%), 900 (11%), 3700 (44%) = final ~8500 just 500 short of funding the basic package.

Based on that first week, it should have funded but without all the tiers.

What went wrong?  This one suffered in the middle section - that "900" should have been a lot higher.  In the middle weeks, Hasbro hosted a fanstream and revealed tiny Crumb on a card and another Jedi Luke on a card as tiers 3 and 4.  Many BS6" fans were disappointed and cancelled their orders trying to send a message to Hasbro.  The Rancor lost about 400 orders over the next two days.  Hasbro pivoted to add Malakili in that final week to win those fans back but the damage was done.  Too much negativity had crept in and the public backlash was ugly during the middle.

The Rancor had an impressive comeback at the end (Malakili helped that) but it wasn't enough to undo the PR damage done in the middle.  If it hadn't lost so much in the middle, it likely funds ahead of the deadline and then picks up more FOMO backers in the final days.   This one had a lot of issues but it sure seems like those Tier 3/4 reveals killed it.

Reva Saber - 1000 in first week, 300 in middle, 200 at the end

On this one, it probably need to get to 1500 in that first week to back (5k).  There were no tiers, there was no support, people did not like the character.  So many cards stacked against this one.  Once the writing was on the wall this wasn't going to make it, it just drifted off and no one cared in that last week.  The less said about this one, the better.

Reva Saber
people did not like the character.

I always wondered why they didn't just call it an Inquisitor's lightsaber. I'm not sure if there are any details on Reva's saber that would differentiate it from a Brother's or Sister's, but having a generic name might have worked better.  Might.

I'm just not sure there is a big enough group that loves TBS helmets and sabers that would be willing to pay $400 for these.  I think some of these are cool items, but not $400 cool.  I'm good with a $75 helmet.  I'm not sure a $400 one does anything more for me unless I'm doing 501st costuming, and then it probably needs to be a lot more custom.

I knew that Reva's saber Haslab was not going to get over the line.  Dave's correct, the Force FX lightsaber market is a bit niche as it is.
This is the way.

Gunship hit 2400 backers just now so we've reached 30% funded.  Progress is slow, but it is moving along still.

That campaign probably should have been run AFTER the series had wrapped.  OR, if Hasbro was set on making an Inquisitor lightsaber?  Go with the Grand Inquisitor!  Between the initial episodes of the OWK series and his tenure on REBELS there was significantly more history for fans to go on.
