Picked up a "Generation 2 or 3" Polish Leia figure from a local guy on Craigslist yesterday.

Cool.  What do you think of it?

In it's own quirky way I really like it. Think it would be fun to get more but not for as much as people want for them. I did see the guy I got it from lowered his silver Snowtrooper from $50 to $40 but still way too much for me.

Picked up a "Jabba the Hutt Action Playset" box w/ some stuff in it. When added to the stuff I already had I believe I am a hooka pipe away from a complete Jabba set with box.

Here is a picture of a happy little boy playing with more parts I got for the droid factory. Hasbro really needs to rerelease this.

Darby - your pickups as of late have been killer man! Finding a Skiff at of all places a record store is quite the achievement and the TIE Fighter and Landspeeder look to be in great shape. Congrats!

JMan - you should give putting together the Death Star a try, it's quite fun and such a beautiful piece to look at in person.

Phruby - great pic of your son enjoying the thrill of playing with vintage. That's the way it should be.

Picked up:

AFA 75 (C80 B75 F85) carded Tril Logo Palitoy A Wing Pilot.

POTF Lumat. Card is almost perfect with punch still in place. Does have small dent to bottom of bubble though.

Nice!  I've been tempted to pick up Ewok and Droids stuff, but have mostly held off.

Yah, the Droids and Ewoks stuff is kind of weird but worth picking up. Once you have those, you have to go for the unreleased wave 2 figures from those series. Someone a while back made molds of those. I have all the Droids but I'm still looking for the unreleased wave 2 Ewoks.

I had tried to just buy the one Droids and one Ewoks I already did to have a representation of each line, but I got King Gorneesh for $22 so I couldn't say no. Slippery slope though

I don't even have room to display all of the regular line vintage stuff, so staying away from the carded Droids and Ewoks has been fairly easy for me.  On the loose side, I almost dropped big money on mostly complete sets a few times.  But I scored R2 and Threepio a few months back and have all but forgotten about the rest of the cartoon lines.  Unless I can find them on the cheap, I'll continue to avoid them, but they are a cool corner of the vintage universe.

I remember in the 90's you could get most of the Droids/Ewoks figures for under $10 each MOC. I never had much interest. Now even loose figures are going for good money.

My MOC Droids and Ewoks figures are probably my favorite part of the vintage SW collection. I love the card art. Wish I could get the second series figures, even if customs but I don't ever see them for sale.

After many attempts I finally won a Rancor with box off ebay. Got it yesterday. Very happy! Figure and box in great shape.
