Sideshow 12" Ilum Padmé Amidala

I voted for Thrawn, since as cool as it would be to get a Snow Bunny Padme, I'd rather see a true EU character than a film character in an EU outfit.  I know that Thrawn will be "boring humanoid alien in military uniform" but I justify it as saying it will be the first true Expanded Universe character as a 12" figure.

Will I actually buy any of those six figures listed?  Probably not, to be honest.  I'm kind of getting out of 12" collecting in terms of characters I'm not really passionate about, and none of those are characters that I'm particularly fond of (Padme excluded).

That said, I think they made some very good choices of who to pick from, although I must say I'm disappointed there were no "Ken Palpatine" or "Horse Pilot" options.

Count me among the Thrawn votes.  And I've been utilizing what methods I can to kinda help him along.   

Vos was probably third on my list while Jade was second.

I actually was disappointed with the list though...  Like Snowbunny Padme didn't strike me as a great choice.  Kyle Katarn or a Darktrooper were two SORELY missing EU characters though and the pollers didn't give any game chaaracter any play which sucked. 

Kyle would've gotten my vote, though a Darktrooper would've maybe taken it had it been available as well.  Kyle's THE EU character I dig the most.

To be honest I figured they would go for earlier EU but who knows down the line. I know I would love a 12" Kyle Katarn as well.

If they made all six I doubt Id be picking up Snow Bunny Padme or Thrawn. Not a big fan of Thrawn and I can think of better outfits for Padme(They could of made the version of her with the Tie Fighter hair from the first CW episode).

Id like to know who besides the poll they are planning to make for the first "wave".

Well truth be told I would have to seen Baron Fel on the list as well.  They just can't get everyone onto the list.  I almost went for snowbunny Padme.  To be honest I would take any on that list they made.  I don't play the video games so Kyle Katarn is not that big a loss to me.  But others surely love him of course.

I bet we'll see all of the figures up for the vote, the vote is most likely what we'll see first.

I think it's been said before that Sideshow is checking out fan sites to see what collectors want, so I wouldn't be too suprised if we got a Kyle Katarn down the road.
