Sorry, I actually gave you the wrong law. It's more properly phrased the Law of Diminishing Expectations. It applies equally to both genders in that as you age, your expectations decrease. Suddenly you come to the stunning realization that Jessica Simpson early 20-something year olds are no longer even in the realm of reality, let alone possibility. So women like Terry Farrell or Nana Visitor, given their age, seem much more obtainable. Perfection becomes less important.
This of course presumes you ever really had a chance, which you/I don't. Reality is not involved in the law itself.
But I will say this: I tend to have a lot more respect and admiration for women that take care of themselves into the decades where gravity takes hold and youth lets go. Same goes for men, I just notice it a lot more for women. Nothing better than a yummy mummy
