Those are the 3 things I think would improve it.  But it is still a top 5 figure this year and the flaws did not stop me from buying two dozen.

There you go, for starters.  Ball shoulders and ball elbows is perfect but one without the other is just pure crap.  Also what is the deal with that armor.  I thought it would snap into place like the AT-RT/turbo tank driver (or whatever the hell he ended up being called) but instead it is just a plastic strip that hangs over it not even with strips to tie itself like the vintage hoth rebel carrier parachute thingies.  If I get a second one it would be because my birthday approaches and not b/c I am paying for it.

Aside from some of the articulation it is not that much of an impovement over the POTF2 one.  And do not get me started on the cracked out Jango face.

This figure is super articulated.  POTF2 has 6 points.

I don't think I had heard anyone tear this figure down like you yet, that was the surprise.  Then again, there was a faction of people who didn't like the Preview Wookiee Warrior, which a lot of people rank as a Top 5 figure all time.  I put the Death Star Gunner easily into the top 20 all time.

Yes, but barely.  I thinkt he DSG could pass on a VTSC card as well.

I dunno. I don't think the Naboo Soldier is all that exciting, but that's just me.

There is not doubt that the articulation helps the figure and it has the same level of articulation as some of the VOTC and VTSC but the way people have carried on about this figure so much I was expecting perfection and it is far from it. 

Maybe Hasbro has driven me to the point of hating good figures by producing bad ones, who knows.

I completely agree with you, Gatillo, about the Jango face. That is certainly a negative feature for me. But, I ignore it by leaving the helmet on. In fact, it has crossed my mind just to glue the darn helmet on. In regards to the armor, I actually prefer the DSG armor over the snap on stuff. Don't ask my why, I just think it looks better.

I respect your opinion on this figure though. It's fascinating how one persons Grail is anothers Albatross.
