I don't thend to even think of retail exclusives as available for pre-order. If they're not purchased through the retailer assigned to, they're too expensive.

I for one have not.  And considering my luck at fiinding WM exclusives thus far, I don't expect to find these either...

I have seen zero reports in the various forums of the WalMart wave being found.  I think these are still several weeks away from seeing the pegs.

I realize these are indeed a retailer exclusive, but does the Hasbrotoyshop website ever carry exclusives at all?  I don't recall them doing so, larger ships for example.  But I was wondering if they might for figures.  Probably not.

Nope, and they made it abundantly clear (in the latest QNA session) that it's their policy not to do so.

My friend from germany has these already however their waves are being released different he said.  I dont believe he'll be getting any of the wave 9 figures unless he gets them from the US.  2 or 3 of the figures have the wrong bases packaged with them like the last wave had.

I'm pretty confident that wave 8 (Appo) has already been found in Germany. I know it's hit England

Yeah, a while back 4-inches.de had pictures from one of their German sponsors that had all of Waves 8, 9, and the Wal-Mart wave in stock.  You can see the cards for Aurra and Kabe/Nabrun in the pic they had:



I also read from that same sponsor that this is how the Wal-Mart exclusive figures will be shipped to Wal-Mart, in these little endcap boxes with the following case assortment...
