Oddly enough, I never received any spam. I feel left behind and left out. :P

And I haven't gotten banned, even though I put a JediDefender link in my sig and posted in the feedback thread that has been deleted.

Too many random rules at RS. Didn't feel comfortable there, so I never posted. Like Pete from TPU said earlier in the topic, not only did I get 3 spam mails, but being in the UK they were no use at all. It's on my blocked senders list now.

I just emailed the webmaster@rebelscum.com link from the RS spam to be removed from the list. Am I banned now? Its pretty ******* low to be banned for not wanting their spam. What a steaming ****-sandwich Rebelscum is.

It's kind of ironic... through the actions that have taken place at RS, they have actually hurt themselves while making the site they despise stronger.  I think their plan backfired and blew up in their face.

I still wish none of this had happened though.   :-\

It's not THAT bad of a town ... I don't think  :'(. I've been to worse.

I haven't - when I was there I got thoroughly spooked by Judy Garland's Uncle's ghost.  No joke.

Well, something strange seems to be happening over at RS. My account seems to have been deleted according to administration. It's a little frustrating because, as par for the course, I was given no explaination nor offered any suggestions as to what to do next. I was also told that I was not the only one in this boat and that there was very little that they could do.

This seemed to happen when the forum went down on Friday. Has anyone else had this happen?

What are your thoughts? Thanks.

EDIT:

WOW! I just did some more checking, every post I ever made has been removed.

staff edit:  just changing the name of this thread since it appears it has drifted far from where it started... Jeff

I think by accident. At least I hope. I just got another message from one of the Admins. He said there's no guaruntees that my account, and those likewise deleted, can be saved, but they are working on it.

Perhaps some of the tech guys around here can give me some insight. How can this happen? Is it possible that accounts are scattered accross various servers and that the server my acoount was on is down or got erased? Why would there not be a back up?

I have certainly rocked the boat a bit over there, but by no means have I warranted even a warning about anything, let alone getting completely removed. I certainly have never flamed another member nor harshly critizied the staff. In fact, I was asked to be a moderator only two months ago, so I can assume that this is an unfortunate technical issue.

But it is a bummer, my existance on RS has been totally erased. :P

I would say it was an accident with the crash RS had on Friday night.

Forums Down Fixed

Some other members have had there past posts wiped out.

All my info is gone

Unexpected things can happen when a server issue arises.  :-\

Interesting. Those guys who also got thier existance deleted we're posting the same time as me when the server crashed.

GNT was posting as well. Wouldn't that be funny if he was wiped too. :P

BTW, thanks to KBZ and Tydirium for getting back to me last night regarding this. ;)
