On a serious note, I thought PW was a cool guy, I mean he had the SW collector community monopoly (in my eyes).

Master Replicas is prominent now in the Props section and I'm pretty sure the Big H reads the forum a lot.

On top of that, he has a license, owns TFN and probably charges a pretty hefty price for advertisment space.

What's my point, you're asking?  Keep the clientle happy - the forum members that is.  You know, the people who click on your sponsor links?!  

Admit you were wrong in sending out that mass TRU email, apologize; be a man and admit your mistakes.  It's far worse to tell your members that support your site to "get a life" and if you don't like it, ask for banishment.

That's now how I would run a business; but hey, that's just me.  

Word spreads quick in the SW community - PW just lit the match on a dry field of brush....

Good PR moves all around, especially with C3 and Midnight Madness and Episode III Coming out.  I wonder what TRU and Lucasfilm will think about all of this?  I wouldn't be too happy one of my promoters and business partners treats their customers like ****.

Funny thing is I still have't been remove but now I will probally get myself ban for my new name and other changes I made in the profile.  Darth Kenobi is dead.

Either I was just banned or Phillip close deleted my account.  I think I was ban through. 

I think this is a new record for JD history with users online.  Someone should take a screen cap of it. 

Edit 4: I also would like to thank LJ and say that my respect for you have grown since you are the only Rebelscum staffer here who actually talks here.

Gundam started this thread at RS just a few moments ago.  Hopefully it won't get deleted, but instead calmly answered by Philip and maybe this whole stupidity can be laid to rest.

Part of my daily routine is to come to 'scum....click on LINKS and from there I go to the sites I normaly check for news.

Today I noticed no Jedi Defender?

Did the big wigs at the sites have a fight and are not talking anymore?

I hope this topic is not deleted or locked....things like this shoul dbe talked about in the open....it seems sometimes things like this are huge behind the scenes but never talked about like this.... "
