Holy  :o    I want that R2.  Works out to 1,575.00 JPY = 14.8363 USD.  Sweet.

Was Simon requesting prepayments? If so, I totally didnt send the payment...

From what I got from Simon, It's not released until April, so you don't have to worry about anything until then.

As for the Medicom site, I agree with you Scott. It is crap. I wish they would change it back to the old way.  :-\

Sorry Adam, no, Simon did not ask for money, you're fine.  It's another guy I know of in Japan that told me about it.  Simon had everything arranged as I understand it.

R2 is nice, but I'm not especially worried about it. I'm still more concerned with the early bird set.

And where's my Vader!!!

Yeah, I expect he will go around $80-$125.

I must have it, this is really cool! Thankfully Im not collecting the BearBricks, so I dont have to worry about that Wicket we saw weeks ago. So, 2 exclusives I need to get. Droids R2 and Carded Fett.

I now officially have the disposable income for a purchase of carded Fett... However, I've got a lot of catching up to do with the United Cutlery LOTR items... I'm torn...

Hey guys. I don't need prepayment for the Endor Sets. That's cool.

I reckon this R2 is going to be tough to get, if it's going to be 2004 pieces only. I'd like to help you all out but, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get one for myself.

Well, on the off chance you can secure any extras, definitely add me to your list as well Simon, as I'm sure you already knew!

Yeah, I'm not super excited about the R2 either, but I still have to get it of course, to keep the Kubrick collection complete (sans carded Fett, of course)!

I'm actually very excited about this R2. Not only from a Kubrick collection, but I think I'd be interested even if I wasn't into the Kubrick scene, Im a big fan of Star Wars: Droids. Maybe since it's not a mega popular version, secondary market value wont be through the roof.

So close to deciding on a carded Fett... So close...  So close, I've ordered two custom acrylic display cases for carded Kubricks...

I really like the look of that new R2-D2.  I hope they make a C-3P0 and other "Star Wars: Droids" characters.  I don't own any actual 3.75" "Star Wars: Droids" figures at the moment, but jumping in on these Kubricks would be a great way to start.

They have to make a C-3PO Kubrick First :P him and the Big Guy in Black have to be in the next Wave, which we should be hearing about real soon

Think we will hear about it this soon? Although, I guess we knew about Wave 2 months before we got it ;)

Thats a big thing that I like about Kubricks; nice long breaks between figures ;)

Yes, long breaks are good.  Darned new cases plus unleashed don't help though.  Mind you, Newforce is usually weeks behind everyone else, so I get a bit of a break.   ;)

Vader
C3PO
Stormtrooper
Jawa
Emperor
Royal Guard

The Jawa throws off the 'theme' but what the hey, I'd like to see one made.  They'll probably make an Ewok though, just to keep with the ROTJ theme.  Blech ;)

I reckon it'll be

Vader (1:12)
Emporer (1:12)
Jedi Luke (1:12)
C-3PO (2:12)
Ewoks (3:12)(different Ewoks in Hong Kong and Japan)
Biker Scout (3:12)

Chase Figures
Emperors Royal Guard (1:24) and:
C$%$ Knocker (1:96)aka Mark Hamill with giant fist from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Going out on a limb with this one but it's fun to speculate. Also it would open the way for a great Kevin Smith line of Kubricks. Medicom have suprised us with Spider-Ham and Indy in the last couple of  series.

And the phrase on the counter box will be

"Don't f@#% with a Jedi Master, son" along with a picture of Jedi Luke Kubrick. ;D

(PS Maybe this debate doesn't belong here, but Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back is the best of the Kevin Smith movies 'cause it had the most references to SW)

Maybe they'll continue to give us Indiana Jones Chase figures, and give us General Veers in the line, with a chase figure Walter Donovan ;)

Well, Simon's list clearly makes more sense.  I let personal preference get in there.  I like Stormtroopers because they are classic and consistent through the films.  I suppose we already have one in the sense of sandtroopers, but I wanted a basic version.  Biker scout would be fine.

Damned Ewoks.  Bloody Ewoks.  Hey wait, I just had an idea for a custom.  Really, they only make sense since it will likely be ROTJ.

I really don't like the suggestion of the chase Royal Guard though.  I don't like it when chase figures are integral to the line.  Chase Boba are great because I have a regular Boba no matter what, it's just a slight difference.  Indy  :'( was different enough that I can survive not having him.  Were it a separate Han Solo figure (Hoth, for example) I'd have been ticked because it would break up my collection.  ESB vs ROTJ Fett matters not to me.  Had the chase been Ephant Mon, I'd have been ticked (mind you, the box would give it away ;))

I hope they stay more sensible with the line and don't follow the pattern that Marvel Legends have followed.  Red Skull is annoying me.  Major villain for Cap to fight, but it's a chase figure.  Dumb, dumb, dumb.  Gold Ironman?  Great idea, everyone can get the regular yellow version and not miss out.

Hmm, I wonder if I can get Kutcher to go back in time and eliminate the Ewoks from ROTJ...

Blaspheme! Get rid of the Ewoks? The Ewoks are the saviors of the universe...

Come on Ewok Kubricks! Very easy repaints by the way!

Gentle Giant, where's our Ewok bust?! :)

Master Replicas, where's our Ewok props? :)

Rubies, where's our lifesize Ewok?

I love da Ewoks. I lika... do... da cha cha

I just got my first three Kubricks from DSJ in a trade, these guys are neat.  I'm not up to browsing through all 26 pages and was wondering how you guy's display these?  Sealed in plastic or loose?  Do they make a display case for the standard figures?

I have almost a complete set of Matrix Kubricks on the way as well!  I still need Twin 1 & 2 and Morpheous.  Anyone know where I can pick up these other then ebaY?  BBTS, sells random individual figures, seems like an unusual concept.
