First of all, after seeing the photo of this, I need a change of underwear.  THAT is just incredible.  And reading Adam May's blog about it has me even more excited.   

Oh, and for the record, since someone asked earlier, the vintage/POTF2/OTC mold is 22 inches long from its longest points (less than 2 feet), so we're talking another 8 inches in length, and probably a bit in width to even it all out.  By way of comparison, the Naboo Royal Starship (currently the longest SW vehicle) is 3 feet long from the front tip to the back of the ship (not including the fins on the engines), so there you go.

I just ran and got a tape measure to get the dimensions of my POTF2 and OTC Falcons.

Length: 22 Inches

Width: 16 Inches

This new one has to be huge!

So according to the GH blog we can expect to get Han Solo and Chewbacca with this Falcon.  I think a VOTC Han Solo and Early Bird Chewbacca would be perfect complements to the set.  But I would be just as happy to get a new TESB Han Solo in this set.

As for the docking ring for a starfighter?  Who saw that coming?  I thought that was just an oversized battery compartment.  But it does look big enough that the nose of an X-Wing might fit into the docking ring.  I think that an escape pod might have been truer to the design, but I see the play value in this feature.  And if there's some all new vehicle involved?  It could certainly be interesting.

That's what I thought of right away when I read that too.  I remember the reason that the VOTC Han was pulled from the Legends voting because "that figure may be used in another way next year", or something along those lines.  I think the VOTC Han and EB Chewie would be perfect compliments to this set.  Man, I can't wait for this.

Wow, I didn't need more convincing - but this back of the box shot with all the details has definitely sold me.  This is the one collectible I have to get this year (or next, whenever it is released).  This looks like one of Hasbro's best efforts yet across the entire line.

If we are going to talk price and Hasbro is listening then your should say something low. I'd say $99 max simple because we are talking about parents buying this thing for their kids. Anything over $99 for a toy gets too expensive for a christmas or birthday present.
