I'll have to watch the movie again but I don't recall eggs being just a solid OD Green color, or charcoal, haha. Pretty sure they were a bit more elaborate.

But they're definitely green and not black, so I know what the guy's saying. There's just no paint detailing is all.
Like I said, "Screen accurate" to me would imply a pretty elaborate paintjob though and that doesn't jive at all with a "retro" playset feel.
I think that the surprise figure eggs were painted though, weren't they? Multi-colored, kinda realistic. Those reminded me of the Hot Toys Snap Kit eggs that the last series of figures came in. They're 1/6 scale as well, but closed.
Are the playset eggs removable from the base? They look it.
