Woo-hoo. The cheap stuff at the station near the coffee shop I go to in the morning dropped $.02 to $2.25. ::)  Unfortunately I didn't have enough gas to get there and paid $2.33 at a nearby station.   :'(

The national average has dropped below $2/gallon.  The official Dressel Rebel prediction is $1.50 or less by the November election.

Well....2.01

Glad I don't pay much for gas except for friends rides, and lawn mower fuel.

Just recently dropped to under $2 ($1.99) after hitting a high point of about $2.13 a few weeks back.
Common sense isn't so common

Back down to $1.69 today after hovering around $1.79-1.89 most of early July.  I guess I'll have to hit the station on the way home tonight...

We're up higher right now...  Around $1.89...  $1.85's easy enough to find thugh too.

I've not been doing a ton of driving myself though so I've been avoiding the effects lately.

I'm very surprised the local stations hasn't jumped all over the fatc that there have been not one but two production issues at Marathon/Ashland in the last 2 months.  That's usually good for a 25 cent price bump

Definitely a good time to bump this piece of crap back up.  I think it's funny that I keep seeing "National" news media outlets discussing gas hitting $2 a gallon.  Pleeeease.  We've been paying well over that in California pretty much non-stop.  I think there were a couple months late last year when we dipped into the $1.80's/$1.90's, but it was shortlived.

Most gas stations out here are hovering in the $2.40's.  Cheapest I can find ANYWHERE near me is $2.23.  Totally sucks.

The news is reporting that it's supposed to be going up an additional quarter per gallon in the next few weeks too.  I wonder when something's going to be done about this?

I take my road test on Monday.

And then I pick up my car.

Talk about bad timing.

Yeah, last week around these parts we hit $2.19 and I was tempted to drag this thread back up.

I drove on fumes for 2 days hoping it would drop and managed to wait it out until it was back to a "low" $1.96  ::)

Today, we're sitting at about $2.09 at most places...  >:(

We're around $2, which for this area is high...  I could see stations at $1.95 yesterday though...  I have $.10 off per gallon at the local grocery store's pumps so I'll be going there.  I do shop there, so I rack up the cents off.

Just sucks how things are going up up up just in time for C3.   ::)
