Glad everything is going okay for the both you Matt at the moment.  This season is going to be bad in the areas that haven't burned yet (last year and at this moment).  I'm just glad I a little ways away from the hill in my neighborhood but I don't expect that hill to go anytime soon unlike other areas in Diamond Bar.  We already had a 20 plus acre fire caused by a train near us (a few miles away) that I went to go out and see at a distance.

Seriously, I'm glad that things are looking better today, and I'm still in favor of you and Patty packing it all up and heading out here where all you have to worry about are tornados. I don't miss any of those natural disasters in the least!

Yeah, well, uh...  I was suffering from severe smoke inhalation, and was barely able to speak last night.  Yeah.  That's what happened.

Well, glad you and Patty are doing ok.  My sister-in-law is was home from Alaska and they are having some pretty wicked fires also.  I'm not sure of how those compare to Southern Cal property wise but she did say that they lost a lot of acreage and they did have some evacuations.  

Anyways, I think Patty rocks with breaking out the Gatorade, hope she's coming with you to C3, I just gotta meet her!!

Saw the footage on the news last night, the Newscasters were all sort of chuckling about the bird on the wire thing.  

Also, I thought I saw a lady out with a sack full of neon colored liquids running around near the fire engines...weird
