Yeah, you guys are right.  Lord only knows that I'm nothin' to look at (probably why I walk around in my bear suit all the time), and I sure wouldn't like it if someone was making fun of the way I looked.

It was just an opportunity for a cheap-shot, low-blow and I took it (what else is new?).  I don't believe in editing-out or deleting comments after the fact, so I won't, but I apologize for saying what I did.

I PMed GNT to see if I could get any inside confirmation on whether in fact he had actually been "unmasked" and apparently....he says you have found a picture of a cousin of his with the same name.

I know there are a lot of holes in that theory, but he also sent a real picture of himself to prove this claim. Now, if the picture I saw was indeed Gregg, then I can say with relative confidence it's NOT the picture in this thread, nor do they resemble one another at all.

I promised I wouldn't forward it, post it, or transmit it in any way....and I've got to stick to my word there. Otherwise, I'd just be kind of a cretin.

Still, I felt I should pass this new tidbit along to the sleuths involved in digging up this new info, as it may have been in vain.

Funny, but he just told me via PM there "its not me, but a close friend"...    Then why bother making all those edits late last night on the schools web page?  Case is still closed.  

Shouldn't be such a big deal really.  So we all know who he is now...  Doesn't make that much of a difference to me really, other than it was fun seeing the age old mystery solved.  Just another face to go with a name now is all!
