True. I had completly forgotten about that. Does that mean that this padawan more then likely dies then? because she is not seen or mentioned in ROTS..

He's not on the council, but everyone refers to him as Master Kenobi.  Although when he originally started training Anakin, he was a knight.

You all know about the Clone Wars animated Series coming out, right? Well it's hitting this September, and will kick off (in the UK at least) with a cinematic release of the first 3 episodes (note this was confirmed by a couple of Star Wars licensees other than Hasbro). The rest of the episodes will then come out on a yet undecided TV channel.

I wonder if they'll do the same thing here?

We need to feature a hot cartoon Jedi so lets make up a Jedi that is not Shaak Ti but looks like Shaak Ti and will be Anakin's Padawan even though he himself is still a Padawan at the start of the Clone Wars...this is about as dumb of an idea as I have seen in a long, long while

What I really don't get here is where this whole thing fits in the continuity of the EXISTING Clone Wars stories, let alone the movies.  Seriously, this is dumb

What I don't get is why Lucas hates us.  This... thing... is clearly a punishment.  Maybe we should get together and apologize for building him an empire on a foundation of nerdiness instead of leather jackets, hot rods, and being cool?  I don't know.  He just hates us so freaking hard.

That's what the rumor has been since that Hasbro meeting later last year, and I really hope that it turns out to be true.  It won't be exactly the same, but it would be nice to look forward to a "Star Wars movie release" again.  I'm really looking forward to this series overall, and hopefully it turns out (and is received) well.  I thought I heard the rumored date for the "movie" release was in August (8th?).  Hopefully we'll hear something at Toy Fair.

Maybe if the movie release happens it will get us a Clone Wars midnight madness sale at stores for the debut of the figures.

Wow, in theaters on 08-15-08 and then in 30min episodes on Cartoon Network and TNT in the fall. 

Nice to finally get that "theater release part" officially confirmed.

Well I'm definitely starting to get excited about the release of The Clone Wars!  I didn't expect I'd ever be going back to the theatre to see an all-new Star Wars release on the big screen.
