Can't wait to see more.

Thanks guys.  I am an admirer of both your work, I just haven't had the time to give decent feedback.  I can't wait until finals are through and I can get back to my hobbies.

Here's my first attempt at Commander Cody.  I did this for my son for Christmas, I've just been too lazy to edit and upload the pics.

Recipe
SA Clone body
Tank Gunner head and neckpost

Accessories
Visor:  Sheet styrene w/sculpy
Helmet Antennae:  Right side - random gi joe part;  Left side - Sheet styrene
Shoulder Antenna:  Styrene, sculpy, wire
Camera:  gijoe gun part, cut and sanded
Jetpack:  3 styrene sheets, sanded, etc. to shape.  Looks kinda like a big tooth.  I'll be changing that with my next rev.

Thanks Fritz.  I mixed the paint myself.  It took 3 tries to get it right, but the main color was Apple Barrel Pumpkin something or other.  It's been a while since I mixed it.

That's one of the best Cody's I've seen and looks far superior over Hasbro's upcoming version.  Especially great work on the visor.

Your son must love this figure!

Whoa!  That Cody is leagues above my sorry attempt!  Amazing job - at first I thought you used one of Bantha5's kits but then I realized that you did it all yourself - Great stuff!  I would have to say that it might be my favorite Cody figure ever - the removable helmet really makes it great.
The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
Is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

Thanks guys.  It's always rewarding to hear good feedback, especially given that It took FOREVER to make.  I would rather have gotten Bantha5's kit for my son.  It would've saved me tons of time.  This is the kind of custom that takes so much time and effort, that when finished, you cringe at the very thought of action figures.

No such concept exists.

Here's my first attempt at Captain Fordo from Clone Wars Season 2.  You'll notice the holster doesn't close on the gun, it used to close into a little slit and it looked cool once, but I accidentally broke it off and am too lazy to fix it.

I'm not entirely happy with the way his helmet worked out, so I'm working on a second one, which you'll see in the last pic.  The tweezers are not custom, but I believe the brand name is Revlon, should you admire the craftsmanship thereof.

Captain Fordo with Jai'galaar Eyes, or "Jaig Eyes"

Head:  ROTS Evo clone
Helmet:  AOTC Evo helmet, cut and sanded blank for the most part
Visor/rebreather:  Sheet styrene +sculpy
Macrobinoc hinges/helmet "fin":  Sheet styrene
Pauldron:  Sheet styrene
Pauldron strap:  Elastic banding painted dark gray
Wrist Comm:  Sheet styrene
Belt:  ROTS Evo clone belt, cut.  Styrene rectangles cut to shape, glued, and painted.
Holster:  Sheet styrene
Sidearm:  Grievous blaster for the grip, sheet styrene for the barrel
Rifle Barrel/scope:  Clone Wars Trooper rifle
Rifle stock/grip/scope mount/red thingy:  Sheet styrene
Paint:  slightly lightened Apple Barrel "Red Apple;"  Apple Barrel "Misty White" and "White;"  custom mix light and dark gray;  Folkart "Licorice" black;

That is cool especially the helmet. I like the markings on the forehead. Too bad the crappy hasbro head ruins the figure with that stupid look on his face. A repaint of the head would be a big bonus.

Excellent work man!

Nope commander keller had a parjai type helmet and he led a group of snow troopers.  This is indeed Captain Fordo.

I'm digging the working holster and I especially love the way he looks like a half way point between animated and realistic. It makes him look very unique i think. Great Job man! 8)

These are my only two sources of information that may confirm that he is Fordo.  I've found conflicting sources as well, but they are more vague.  There's one where Karen Traviss says he's not Fordo, but doesn't say who he is, but I forgot where that was.  Doh!

Source 1 from SW.com (near the bottom).

Source 2 from a wiki site
