I recently got the red and blue royal guards today and they're super sweet!

Picked up Palpatine w/red saber (#35) and Grevious (#36) at TRU today. Up to 23 of the first 40 now.

I was able to score an operating table Vader (can't recall the specific term) with the dull head. I think I like the glossy #2 the best so I am going to return this one if I find the other.

I have the really burnt Vader on table and he looks the best, IMO.

So I opened some SA troopers #41 and I noticed they have an antenna coming out of their back. What the deal with that? It looks cool, I'm just curious and the darn thing comes of every time I touch my clone. Maybe I should stop playing with it but what is the fun in that.

Checked out Wal-Mart and TRU this weekend, and although figures #33-40 seem to be showing up in better quantities (Clone Commanders are tough finds though), still no sign of #41 and up at retail yet. I did receive some orders from HasbroToyShop and Amazon, and between the two picked up the following figures:

Vader on Med Table
Clonetrooper w/Jetpack
2x #41 Clonetrooper
#43 Wookiee Warrior (dark)

Should have one more package arriving today, and I'll be pretty well caught up with what is out...I think.

How are the wookies doing in your area?

In mine they are warming the pegs like little hairy mittens. I have not seen any more dark ones, which are the cooler ones. But yesterday I counted 17 at Target and only 11 Destroyer droids. I was shocked, SHOCKED

, to find more wookies than destroyers.

The local DMZ...umm...SWM put out a case of 41-44 right before I walked in this morning. I had just started to walk away when I noticed that big "41" peeking out from the side of one of the pegs. This was apparently one of those "brilliant" case assortments that included 1 Neimoidian, 1 Droideka, 1 Clone, and 2 Wookiee Warriors (both light furred), and as soon as I had the one Clone in my hand, another guy came in and scooped up the Neimoidian, DD, and one of the Wookiees.

They had also (finally) put out the ARC-170 and the Gunship there as well, but they were mixed amongst the Legos and nowhere near the action figures.

I cannot express how thrilled I am that I'm finally caught up on what is out there right now. Of course, now that I say that, the Tarkin/Shrimpy/Aak wave will show up tomorrow and I'll be back on the hunt again.

Today I got a Deluxe Vader (finally), a red Royal Guard, and the Vader, R2-D2, & C-3PO Super deformed figures all from a K-Mart.

This was the first time I had seen any red Royal Guards since midnight madness. They had five of them, but I only grabbed one.

I received the rest of a recent Amazon order, containing a Royal Guard - Red (finally!), a #43 Wookiee Warrior (light), and Yoda w/CanCell. I think, other than some additional army builders and the Neimodian Warrior, I am caught up for the time being. Aside from those pesky Burger King toys
