That Mon Cal dancer looks 10000x better than it did on the rots card. It looks like she is actually swimming with that background. Much better fit. It's going to be good to see you make the repo coins and weapons. Let me know if you can't find a certain weapon. I have most every one of them.

The Mon Cal Dancer really stands out on the Saga packaging. your PS skills are amazing to say the least!

the coins look great too! very realistic finish on them & VERY nice having the Fett coin. i collect the POTF coins loose (of course) and some of those mail-aways are damn tough to come by like the Sail Skiff etc. but you already know that i'm sure. i don't have too many mail-aways myself, and nothing really rare to speak of...but don't hesitate to PM me if you need one to make a cast from, maybe i could help out  :)

Wow, those custom Saga cards look great!  I really like the design of the new Saga cards and seeing your Mon Calamari Dancer on it is too cool!  One thing though, the back of the Mon Calamari figure says "Mon Calamari Dancwer"  :-\

Those vintage cardbacks look perfect!  Are you using the FFURG.com's patterns or are you making your own?  How are you going to mount the coins on the cardbacks?  It's cool that you are going to do the coins as well, I used to love those Ewoks cartoon coins from back in the day.

THanks Rip i'll be PMing you soon to get a list of coins you have.

Grego thanks for pointing that out...but... Not any more.  ;) It was an illusion.

The template i'm using is made from the VOTC card back, that i tweaked to
correct the subtle changes so it was more like the vintage card.
The Coins will be put in a in a repro blister similar to the ones used in
these older customs of mine.

** UPDATE**

Well guys, this vintage carding project is taking longer than I thought. Janruary flew by.
My vintage figs are in worse shape than i thought. So i have had to retouch paint and remove marks as i go.

Here are the first 10. I still need to glue the blisters on.

Thanks Hemble,

**Mounted some of them on the wall.**

Here is the beginning.

And some close ups

Aside from the cards,
Luke's hair, legs and hands were repainted.
Leia's hair was repainted and her blaster is a repro i made.
Chewies blaster is a repro i made as well.
Vader's saber is a repro also.
I even made the little color-match inserts.

All have the "unpunched" indent, but it only show on vaders, due to the angle.

I got them from tjstoys, but the consensus is that toyrestore makes more accurate ones.
They arent expensive. the more you get the better the price,  but you can get them from .50-.75 cents each.

Man, that's looking awesome so far!  I can't wait to see when that wall is all filled up!
Did you make the backs to these cards or are they just the front?

Those are looking really nice. I've got a similar project waiting in the wings myself... I just need to pick up the last few figures that I need to have a complete collection, and then I plan on doing the same thing, just making some repro cards and re-sealing all the figures onto them.

I'll echo Greg's question - front only, or both? Personally, I don't think they need the backs, especially if you're just going to be mounting them on the wall. But the backs would be nice ;)

JK, thanks alot. I am really looking forward to the end so i can see them all carded too.

Grego & Jokabofe, I made the backs too. I will add a picture with the next carded figure.
They dont need the backs but if i'm doing a double sided coin...then I have to do the card back!!
I wouldnt be able to sleep if i didnt.... ;)
