Nice score on the Iron Giant. Can't believe how much it's going for now. You gonna open it?  ;D

They didn't have much of a run at Walgreens or TRU. Now that I think of it, I bought most of what I have online from and eBay.

Still hope they make a return to the brick-and-mortar, though I would stay away at the price TRU initially had 'em.

Droid Factory 2013 / Re: 2013 Droid Factory = NOT Dead in 2015?

I like how these look. Maybe it's just the newness or the comparative blah of TBS.

But, no, I haven't bought any at those crazy prices, and wouldn't keep them packaged if I got my hands on them for cheap.

Grabbed Wolfe, Rex, and Dag Vader at TRU. Doom was MIA.

It's not just Wolfe's height; the proportions are so way off -- torso, shoe, neck length (ie, spacing between clavicles and bottom of the helmet); helmet shape.

And the head/helmet on both clones pop off fairly easy.

Rex's skirting should have been made from more pliable plastic. And his knee joint -- I was afraid I was going to break it while bending the knee.

I wonder how long ago these 2 were developed.

All the design concessions for the ITT are acceptable for a toy. But no wheels? It's a friggin' transport! How am I are kids supposed to jump it off a ramp, or do a Thelma and Louise off a table?

Luke turned out way better than I thought

Ugh, those elbow joints belong on Marvel/GI Joe knees.

But for those wondering, now we know how Yoda looks in a rebel starfighter flight suit?   :)

The landing gear/struts is so f'n yesteryear.

I was so excited in the build-up to TPM, but with these reveals, as much as I'm trying to lower my expectations, I can't help but get that same giddy feeling I had as a kid seeing commercials/previews announcing ESB was "coming soon to theater near you".

Beth and Daryl were getting too chummy. I think she bites it.

Tasha Yar screams cult to me. My guess is the Terminus group rounds up wandering walkers as food. Also explains why there aren't zombies and why the gates aren't securely closed or guarded.

Idej, are there dimensions out already?  8', you sure?

Yuppers. 43.9m long. 95" using 1:18 scale.

To scale is around 8' long. :o

I can picture them marketing a 30" version.

Crazy price fluctuations this holiday season.

Lily's become a bad-ass. Hope she returns.

Tyrese, so far, is pitiful. Stayed away from the comics so I don't know how the 2 versions compare.

All the Gov's minions deserved to die. Mitch made a really good a-hole and whose death was really fist-pump and high-five inducing.

Little Lizzie isn't as "weak" as her kid sister claimed she was. Damn, center of the forehead. No hesitation.

Not so sure about no or little cognitive ability. During the barn slaughter, the zombies seemed to maneuver ok over fallen bodies.

A couple of episodes back, during the scenes of Carol murdering Ty's lady and dragging her body, did we see flashbacks of what actually happened or a peek into Rick's head as he imagined how the deed might have played out? Anyway, as she dragged the body, I noticed "something". But the scene was so quick I couldn't put a finger on it. (I dozed off on the second showing.) Then I saw a frame capture on the WD thread at the other site which shows what appears to be a second set of hands helping pull the body! My guess is Lizzie's younger sister.

Ty as a master, uh, hammerman, isn't working for me the way it's being depicted. In one scene it takes 2-3 blows to the head to take down one of the zombies.

Middle Earth / Re: The Hobbit - Toy Line

That initial batch came and left real quick and I haven't seen a refresh since. If you see the foam role play battle-axe hanging on the pegs then you can bet the figures made an appearance already.
