I see some on eBay and the facial paint apps really pales against the samples. If these are an indication of the run, it would be a disappointment.

I got a lttle ahead of the storyline. The tie-in was shown on the preview for this week's episode. So no FTWD-ADD moment for you.  :P

There was a gun shot blast that came from the house, right? Did Jonestown dad kill himself? Shoot his daughter? Get bitten while firing?

The show has a few interesting elements but a lot of "WTF" moments.

The plane crash survivor tie-in is a nice angle.

Larger click and hover pics at Funko really shows the detail. Let's hope the paint jobs are up to snuff.

Wowsa. I am in. I expected these would be retro so I didn't pay attention to the thread. Sculpting and resemblance are great. I can accept the hinge joints since, as someone mentioned, Funko's a small company and they have to cut costs some how.

Stopped by a big-ish local toy store last Saturday. They must have just stocked. Finally came across a Phasma; pleasantly shocked to find Tasu Leech, Fifth Brother, and Ackbar; and rounded it off with the Luke that I never bothered with until now. A nice side trip with the exception of my niece and nephew guilting me into buying them something.  :P

Found Ithano/Quiggold and Snowtrooper/Wexley 2-packs at a Target a day later.

The EE exclusive deco desert assault vehicle at amazon now for ~$19. Eligible for free shipping. Don't see the EE sticker...for those into the packaging.

The Black Series 3.75" Figures / Re: Walmart Black Series 3.75" Wave 3

Had absolutely no luck finding wave 2 and I was resigned to ordering online. Sure, it's still a waste of time since they don't apparently stock, but at least I'm not burning gas on the Wally detours.

But today I heard the cries and drove by before work. Surprise, Surprise.

The midichlorians have awakened in me.

Must be partially the paint apps, but wow... Han is downright po'd in the ones I saw.

SF Bay Area.

Nice score on the Iron Giant. Can't believe how much it's going for now. You gonna open it?  ;D

They didn't have much of a run at Walgreens or TRU. Now that I think of it, I bought most of what I have online from whona.com and eBay.

Still hope they make a return to the brick-and-mortar, though I would stay away at the price TRU initially had 'em.

Droid Factory 2013 / Re: 2013 Droid Factory = NOT Dead in 2015?

I like how these look. Maybe it's just the newness or the comparative blah of TBS.

But, no, I haven't bought any at those crazy prices, and wouldn't keep them packaged if I got my hands on them for cheap.

Grabbed Wolfe, Rex, and Dag Vader at TRU. Doom was MIA.

It's not just Wolfe's height; the proportions are so way off -- torso, shoe, neck length (ie, spacing between clavicles and bottom of the helmet); helmet shape.

And the head/helmet on both clones pop off fairly easy.

Rex's skirting should have been made from more pliable plastic. And his knee joint -- I was afraid I was going to break it while bending the knee.

I wonder how long ago these 2 were developed.

Star Wars Rebels / Re: Star Wars Rebels - Class II Vehicles

All the design concessions for the ITT are acceptable for a toy. But no wheels? It's a friggin' transport! How am I are kids supposed to jump it off a ramp, or do a Thelma and Louise off a table?

Luke turned out way better than I thought

Ugh, those elbow joints belong on Marvel/GI Joe knees.

But for those wondering, now we know how Yoda looks in a rebel starfighter flight suit?   :)
