There's a song I hear and immediately I think of my dog...  I ain't gonna admit to crying to you punks but it "upsets" me...  Yeah, "upsets" will work as a description.

I can picture Lucas sitting there saying...

"No No No Tem, ya gotta do it much ********.  If you do that so well I'll have nothing to laugh about later!"

Original Trilogy Collection / Re: Anybody find OTC at retail yet?

Yeah, that Han's like seeing a history of piss-poor Hasbro marketing decisions sometimes.  A Target near me had HOF and OTC up at the same time.  :)

Floating head is still a better idea I think.  This'll be ok for a while though.

Do you have the Marmit Fett then since he's your focus?  I hear nothing but GREAT things on that figure, though I think they're rather delicate figures unfortunately.  :(

Yeah, pretty much...  I gotta see if I have them.  I'll PM you in a little while about it if I have them or not.  I may have already given them away though.  I'm not sure.  I'll check.

Don't see many 12" figures get praise these days.

I like the looks of the VOTC Fett, but I've really quit buying 12" figures in general, and on top of that I'm still just on a downer about Hasbro's general lack of quaity in the 12" line.  I got too pampered with Dragon's 1:6 line I guess, which is unmatched in this scale IMO.

Fett is cool, but I can't even sell my POTF2 one which is really similar.  :(

I cnsider her more a basic line figure, but I agree she needs redone definitely.  Softgoods cape, good or great articulation, an actually separate thermal detonator (Whoever said "hey, let's sculpt it in the hand" needs smacked), and that'd basically make me happy.

Of course, the chain (removable) for your VOTC Chewbacca would rock as well.  :)  And her rifle, but that goes without saying.

Joe Defender / Re: G.I. Joe Toys Thread

There's some that really impress though in the modern line.

For instance, the new Firefly sculpt ROCKS, and even has a working holster on his chest for a pistol.  If they'd paint him ala the vintage Firefly, THAT would be a kick ass figure.

The new Alpine is sorta neat too, but again deco kills it.

One that rocks though, and has a good deco and redeco coming, is the "Cross Hair" figure.  WOW that's a cool guy.  The kinda figure that, as a kid, would've been my favorite Joe I used to pretend "I" am a G.I. Joe too...

Their new Recondo's cool too, and even has extra articulation, but I was saddened they didn't try gooing with a retro looko at all (no tiger stripe camo, no boonie hat with side pinned up, no mustache).

The "Disco" Destro rocks too.  I saw people dump on that figure but Destro in kinda clubby clothes is a neat concept, and the sculpt's great.  I got mine with a riot gun and his double holsters with big ass .44 magnums is awesome looking.  THAT is a modern day Destro.

The last Cobra Commander sculpt's good too, and in the proper blue/red deco he's really a nice update to the timeless leader.

Yeah, that's why I edited...  That seems like a lotta photos, and I'm particular about what I interface with.

i had an 84, 88, 95 tbirds. my 95 v6 was just as fast as the mustang v6. I actually beat one in a race. I would imagine the v8 would be just as fast as the mustang v8

Indeed!

And the SC's just put standard 6's to shame.  It's incredible...  I love when people packing what they think's hot pull up along side you.  For all the pain in the ass that an SC is, what with maintenance and simply the fact it practically COVERS the entire engine on top making routine maintenance a bitch, it really makes the difference between going fast and being thrown into your seat on every gear selection.

The LeBaron has a 4-Cylinder Turbo model I guess that's like a 4 speed...  I've never personally seen one but I'm told it itself is an impressively fast "little" car.  The engine's in Le Baron's are Mitsubishi's if I'm not mistaken.  They're a Japanese make at least I'm pretty sure, but the 4-cylinder I guess is domestic.

My T-Bird's kinda like the Falcon I figure...  Lotsa owners, and none who treated it that well.  Kinda ugly body wrk on the outside (and underneath) that makes it not "look like much", but it sure "has it where it counts".  :)  I just gotta get it looking pretty some day.  And really for what I paid ($1,000, and about $500 in to get it inspected, and most of that in a new windshield), I could probably recoup that cost alone by selling the SC...  Parting the rest of the car out would retain a tidy little profit, or so I'm told.  I just kinda hate to do so...  It's really actually quite nice.  :-\
