The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars Episode VII
« on: November 5, 2012, 02:24 PM »
I'm thinking Ahsoka needs to die before the CW series ends. That's the only way they could reconcile her absence. Though the CW cartoon really should have been more about Anakin and Obi-Wan together...I feel like Ahsoka was an unnecessary addition to the SW universe.

Thanks for the heads up! I got an extra two, to bring my total up to six (the number we actually see on the Death Star). I'm glad to put this mad scramble behind me without having to go too far above retail price.

Has anyone seen the deleted scene wave at 5 Below? I found the AOTC wave when I was out of town last week, but I actually need a Lando and Colonel Cracken from the deleted scenes wave.

I'm just wondering if the conflict is going to come from within (i.e. Sith plot) or without (i.e. invasion by some new enemy).

If anyone finds the corrected Stormie at 5 below, I'll gladly take them off your hands! Looking for a bunch of them.

Did anyone order these from Nerd Rage?

I would have preferred the Y-Wing in ROTS to the ARC fighters. They all seemed like heavy bomber-type craft, so why not just use the Y-Wing? I felt like the ARC was kind of a ****** design.

I'm going to just be excited about this, since I'm expecting more than what we got in the Prequels.

But if they bring the ******* Yuzhan Vong into this, I will choke Lucas.

If it weren't for the C.H.U.D. I might consider it.

Well now there's a flooded subway tunnel in between me and the only two Kmarts in my area (though I'm thankful that this is the only problem I'm facing from the hurricane). I really hope these become available online.

86
I went to a couple Kmarts and didn't see a trace of these. Bummer!

Other Toy Lines / Re: Prometheus Figures

They're 7" scale, but since they're huge characters, the figures stand about 9.5" tall...awesome. I want to pick up the flight suit engineer.

88
There were also a couple of them hanging out by the slot machine in Jabba's palace...take your pick.

Other Toy Lines / Re: NECA Predators

Sweet deals you got there!  8)

As for the helmet, the P2 guy, or "Pussyface", as he called in the fan forums, definitely has his mask off longer. It's actually off for the whole final battle. But since I have a few Predators with no mask (Elder, Lost, Shaman), I opted to get the masked versions of both "main" Preds.

I bought the TRU 2-pack (still available at some stores) and sold the half-cloaked Berserker. I have to say, I love the masked P-face Predator, mainly because I had this poster hanging in my room for pretty much my whole teen years, and that shows him masked and holding the spear. The 2-pack also includes a skull/spine and a Predator skull. I didn't collect the Rodriguez Predators movie figures, but I liked the Predator skull accessory.

It would be ideal if NECA would give us both heads and have them be interchangeable, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

The absolute best 2-pack Hasbro could give us would be the Tonnika Sisters, of course.
