Jesse, I've used Amazon Japan to buy the SH Figuarts Luke... you have to create a separate Amazon account and use a courier/forwarding service for address purposes, but they let you bill to an American address, and they have English translations. They appear to still be selling the Bandai kits too.
It's at least worth trying to do some digging around on there. I've been trying to find other hobby sites to get all of the SH Figuarts figures so I'll let you know if I find anything.
Just got my payment request for Vader from HLJ... would have been nice to know this would be arriving since I just paid for the SH Figuarts Maul over the weekend and now have to ship them separately. Thanks Medicom!
Interesting to note that the speeder that pops up is the toy that has the jacketless Finn figure, and I guess the goons in it are the guys from the box's artwork. BB-8 cameo at the very end there, and I'm assuming that's Poe's X-Wing flying around there.
I can't say I want one, but I have Vader, Luke and the regular Stormie, plus I have Maul, the AOTC Clone, Battle Droid, TFA Stormie and Kylo Ren on pre-order, so I might as well complete the collection.
(Still trying to find alternate ways to get Obi-Wan and Kylo since they aren't fulfilled by Amazon Japan)
Just from pictures/toys, it seems there are two types of TIE Fighters: regular ones similar to the OT, and the Special Forces TIES that have rear/mounted cannons and hold two pilots. So I'm assuming there have been SOME sort of modifications made to the technology.
Saw all of these but the BB-8 set at TRU tonight.... and they had all been opened. The only one that looked tampered with was the Vader/Ahsoka set, which didn't look like it had anything swapped out, but it still looked off. Passed on it all.
Yeah, this is becoming a "hate watch" show for me since there are only two episodes left for the season. I realize they are building up to SOMETHING, but it's taking forever to get there. Walking Dead has slow episodes, but they also have longer seasons and have stuff happen every 2-3 episodes before the slow ones. Even TWD's first season had more excitement, while still explaining some stuff.
Most cringeworthy scene: Barber's Hot Daughter making out with the Army dude
Thanks to Reddit for the term "hate watch" which I plan on using a lot more
