I found the huge thing Kanan was talking to infinitely more interesting than Thrawn, but apparently they have toasted all the Inquisitors now, so it makes sense they would need to find a new way to up the danger level this season. At least they ditched his funky Space Parrot or whatever.

Agree it was a whole lot crammed in there. Makes me sad we will likely never see any of the great characters like Hondo, Lando, and the Mandalorians made in the toy line.  :(

If it's going to be substantially better than what's in that photo, I'm amazed that they'd show it at all.

Apparently they actually took her out of the display case after all the brouhaha.

I thought they did a great job on the Boushh likeness, but this...eeesh.

Always hated that place for its sloppy, amateurish reporting, constant glad handing, and just a general overall junior high school level mentality.

But this goes beyond the pale even for him.

It's like, the more we see played out in the news every day the horrible effects of bigotry and ignorance, the more some people seem to want to cling to that inane bs.

Pure garbage, and offensive on every level.

On your mark...get set...terrible!  :D

The hair that is...

We need another Hondo figure!

Gamestop finally got these up on their website this week, but the closest store with any in stock is 42 miles away from me. So I just went ahead and bought all of them as a lot on eBay for less than $10 apiece shipped, pretty pleased about that. Look forward to checking them out firsthand.  :)

Late to posting...watched the finale live but only managed a second viewing just last night. Really gripping stuff...certainly accentuated with the creepy musical score that bookended the episode.

It's the little details that help make this show so great. The Lady of Thorns dressing down the Sand Snakes...the Hand of the Queen moment with Tyrion...Sam seeing the white ravens flying out from the Citadel from afar...just really nice touches.

And if you love strong, well written female characters with depth, you've got a lot to love in this show. Not only Dany, Cersei, and Arya but now Yara, Meera, Lady Moormont, the Sand Snakes, etc. Pretty amazing in such a brutal world how women have come to stake such a claim for themselves. Fun to watch too.

For years I felt like I was the only person who still had a white-hot hatred for Walter Frey that would never subside. Every season I kept waiting for them to come back around and serve up some justice there. It was just incredibly satisfying seeing him go out the way he did. As if I could love Arya's character any more. And I disagree about House Frey - I think they are in complete and utter shambles on par with House Baratheon. Those 2 dipshits Arya carved up were the best and brightest of the lot. The rest may as well jump into the river at this point.

Still concerned about the wild cards like Littlefinger and Melisandre. But hopefully they don't screw things up too badly along the way.

And I know it's wrong, but I can't help but wonder WTF Frankenmountain was actually going to do to that poor Nun.  :-X
I mean, I don't think that thing even eats, sleeps or goes to the bathroom, much less has anything else going on down there...maybe he was planning to sing show tunes?  :P

I got my Alien carrying case and Japanese 3-pack yesterday.  ;D

Rob, you'll be relieved to hear the 3-pack figures appear to be exactly the same as the previous version. I compared them side by side in a bright light last night and could not tell any difference. Packaging is cool though.

The carrying case was a super nice effort, better than expected. It's big! Two stackable drawers covered in a vinyl slipcase, very retro. Fits 24 figures total I believe. I got all my loose guys in there last night and they fit great.

And man, the Glow in the Dark Alien is freaking hellishly cool. They even added some darker inked highlights to really bring out the details. I wish I had more of these guys!

Not holding my breath though...

That is an outstanding Top 6 that I am very proud to be associated with. Well done, Jedi Defenders!  :)

I agree with you Nick, that it seems pointless to vote for characters that are no longer canonical. Hasbro could and should have easily put that to bed by stipulating that you had to vote for someone from the 7 movies or 2 TV shows.

If they can make Rogue One off-limits, they sure as heck can make all the EU fan fiction stuff off limits too.

And those dips btching about "obvious choices" obviously haven't been paying attention because how many years has it been now and still no 3PO?!?!

They are also doing an 18" Warrior Alien "lost prototype" as an homage to the classic Kenner figure...just read about that last night.

A few questions...

01:  Is the Landstrider set the only known SDCC exclusive at this point?
02:  Do we know if it'll be available anywhere else?
03:  Do any of you happen to have an extra of the glow-in-the-dark Xenomorph from the carrying case set you'd like to sell?

Got my shipping notice for the Japanese-branded 3-pack and Carrying Case... 8)

So far yeah, that is the only ReAction exclusive they have revealed. I keep thinking there will be something else, but not so far. Not sure about availability outside of the con but almost all their exclusives have gone up in the Super7 Webstore at some point.

And yeah, the Japanese 3-pack is essentially the same version of the previous 3-pack, but I think they lightened up the paint deco this time around. Not quite as day glo neony.

04:  That set is the same as the last one with just packaging changes right?
