Will there be aliens? Please tell me there will be aliens!

I can't get into a line that is solely human centric, but throw some weirdo alien goons in there and I'm down.  :)

Now I just need to find out where I can buy the rest of the dang figures...

Well, it seems pretty ominous to me that they abruptly ripped all the Dark Crystal stuff off of their webstore a couple of days ago. They are not just out of stock either, I had the pages bookmarked and they are throwing out 404 errors now.   ???

I wish I had bought them at the time now but their shipping charges are ridiculous and I was trying to find a cheaper alternative.

Bummer!

The Black Series 6" Figures / Re: 6" Black Series - Rogue One Wave 2

I found another fresh case of this wave at Target over lunch today and was happy to pick up another Scarif Squad Leader to command the troops I haven't built yet. Think I'm good with two of those guys. Also grabbed another Death Trooper because I have not yet conceived of a reasonable number of those guys to stop at... :P

I dunno, he was curious enough to ask about her...if Rick is worried about improbable stuff like them digging up guns buried in a field someplace it seems like digging up the grave would not be a stretch...for him to imagine anyway.

I still think Spencer's 100% wrong on Rick. His arrival just happened to precede a number of unfortunate events. If he hadn't been there to come up with a plan they would have been overrun soon enough when all those walkers from the quarry or whatever broke through. They had no idea they were even there!

And it was most definitely only a matter of time until Negan and gang would have come calling. Rick was stupid to provoke them but ultimately it only cost two people (ok, 3 with Denise) their lives, and they were Rick's people, not Alexandrians.

They lost a hell of a lot more people to the Wolves and it seems pretty reasonable to argue that Aaron and Morgan were a lot more culpable for those deaths than Rick. Aaron lost the backpack and Morgan let that guy go.

It is a fair point about Rick offing the doctor (AKA Porch Dick) but one of his kids probably would have done that eventually anyway.

Yeah, thanks for clearing that Michonne thing up...I was baffled too. What a dick move.

So Rick is so terrified of Negan he will hand over all the guns, even the ones he didn't know about, to avoid any conflict, but he outright lies about Maggie in a way that would be easy to confirm? What if they just dug up her grave?

Looks like they are going to find her next week anyway unless Jesus pulls some kind of sick Ninja crap to hide her away. So what was the point of that lie anyway? The only thing I could come up with was he didn't want Negan to know they were aware of the Hilltop. But I don't see why that is a big deal though. Negan isn't stupid after all, WTF did he think they were dragging Maggie to on a stretcher in the middle of the woods?!? He had to know they were headed there based on how close they were.

Carl and Rosita are pretty much the only ones who seem to get it. And come on Daryl, speak up there at the end. At least say "i'm ok, Rick" or something. Sheesh.

Unbelievable Rick went so soft on Spencer. That POS should have been thrown out right there. Or just tell Negan he was the one who stole the guns and let him meet and greet Lucille. NO REASON to keep that little weasel around, especially after that crack about Glenn and Abraham.  >:(

I hate pussified Rick. He is worthless as long as he stays like this. It's like every other season he bounces back and forth from uber bad ass to callow wimp.

And agree it seems almost beyond credulity that no one would have just capped Negan and ended the whole cult of personality right there. Those dirtbags would be fighting amongst themselves in no time.

Glad they remembered there are still zombies on this show though.

Saw on Instagram that there is a brand new Super7 exclusive liquid T-1000 with hole in head available now at their Webstore.  :D

Because the 8 previous versions were not enough!

I'm actually kind of glad to get at least one more figure from their previous lines, figuring they will probably focus on new properties going forward. Even if it is a halfassed repaint.

TV-9D9 / Re: Star Wars Rebels - Season 3 (Spoilers)
« on: November 13, 2016, 04:22 PM »
I'm running about a week late on these so I just saw Supercommandos Friday night.

Got tiresome seeing Sabine repeatedly taking crap from first Fenn Rau and then Gar Saxon in this episode. I kept wanting her to snap and go off on one of them. She needs a little more edge to her.

Would have been a perfect opportunity to work that TCW Mandalorian Shuttle into things but they had to go with the Mandalorian Starfighter and remind me how disappointed I was that never got made in the Clone Wars line instead. Bummer.

Wish battle packs were still a thing because those Supercommandos would be a perfect fit. As it is we'll be lucky just to get a single carded Saxon.

The storylines all kind of seem like filler at this point because I think they're already starting to focus on the next animated series and Filoni is not good with endings in general.

Rogue One / Re: Rogue One 3.75" Wave 2

Finally got my hands on Rebels Leia this morning at Target.  :)

Looked like they had a full case on the pegs, glad I got there early.

I'll still need another to open but it feels good scratching this figure off The List.

They also had the new Titanium helmets which I have never seen in a store before. I snagged the Sabine/Vader set because it looked just as good as hoped. Going right on my desk at work.

Robert Vaughn of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. fame

Another guy you thought had been dead for years already. He will live on forever thanks to these Legal Aid ads though.

Always remember him best as "Gelt" the bounty hunter from "Battle Beyond the Stars". Fine actor!

I picked up two of these for $11.98 each on clearance today.  :D

Oddly, only 1 Target out of like 20 around here has this on clearance. The rest are all still full price.

Funny how in that press release they both spin it as a big positive. But it seems pretty clear this experiment was a failure. I'm sure it was Funko who decided to bail. They had all the Hand in that relationship anyway.

I've been all about this line from Day One, but I have to say Super 7 does not have much to offer of any value outside of the ReAction stuff. Those vinyl figures and glassware and stuff are just greasy kid stuff. I have felt for awhile now like they are throwing all their weight behind this MOTU thing to pretty much the exclusion of everything else. Street Fighter and that bizarre "The Worst" property hold no interest for me at all.

I will say though, that the recent Dark Crystal figures are about the best thing they have put out ever. Those are really amazing, and well worth the $15 (to me) because of the thought and energy that went into them, plus the inherent coolness of the property. If they would focus more attention on that kind of stuff I think they will have a solid niche to build on going forward.

The Black Series 6" Figures / Re: Walgreens Black Series 6" C-3PO
« on: November 8, 2016, 09:11 AM »
I kinda like the figure too, although I miss the shiny metal finish. I was worried the arm articulation would be limited but they seem to work pretty well, you can get all the classic 3PO poses out of them.

I got Red Arm yesterday and compared the two last night. That uniquely sculpted abdomen thing is odd, but sort of neat. Just different enough to not make me mad.  :D
