Considering that Star Wars: Republic Heroes is a game that bridges Seasons 1 and Seasons 2 of the Clone Wars series, I really don't think it's that big of a deal for a figure like this to come out.
Yeah, that's a good point and one of the reasons I have no qualms about picking this up. This makes more sense to me than Quinlan Vos, for sure.
It does seem to fly in the face of their whole "it's a kid-based line" mentality though...seems like more of a collector-focused figure.

Not sure how accurate this stuff is, so I will refrain from any positive or negative freakouts, but most of these sound pretty plausible. Cato, Embo, and Zombie Geonosian sound like sure-fire home runs. I don't know that we really need 3 more astromechs, but they're harmless enough. I also wish we could get a "regular" Geonosian before, or at least along with, the Zombie version, but whatever.
The one that potentially bugs me is that Vos guy though. Keep that non-TCW stuff in the non-TCW lines, please. Kul Teska is a stretch, but this one goes over the line, IMO. Couldn't they have slotted this into one of the many, many comic packs they put out over the years? Why jam him into the animated line? If they're planning on rolling him into Season 3, I'm fine with it, but otherwise it just seems like he is taking a spot that could be better used for another worthy candidate, like Bossk. (Just wondering aloud, not really looking to start an argument here)

I can't shake the feeling all of these missing waves will be suddenly vomited onto the pegs a couple of months from now.
I've been wondering about that too since I've also noted the recent glut of the TLC ESB Wave arounf here. I think the big difference is that these last 3 TCW Waves are the end-of-the packaging waves, and Hasbro has been known to under-produce the last few waves before a relaunch. I'm worried that they just may not have made that many in the first place. Otherwise I'm not sure where these things are all jammed up, and why we haven't seen more than a trickle to date.
That totally makes sense about the new case assortment, and I fully agree that those were idiotic choices. Rex just looks goofy with those ear flaps and Snow Obi is just plain boring. On the other hand, I would KILL for another MagnaGuard for openers.

I'll be honest: I HATE HATE HATE this trend of them putting non-TCW EU into the TCW line. If they're not in the show, they need to be slotted into another line, IMO.
That said, this is a really cool sculpt and of course I'll be picking him up. I just wish they could have made him as Wat "Don't call me Jeffrey" Tambor instead.

Well, I was forced to order the 2 BP's I wanted from this wave from HTS just last week, because they have NEVER been released here, and I'm starting to think they never will.
These are the only toys I have NEVER been able to find at a brick and mortar store. It's utterly baffling. They've been out for months in other states, and in quantity, but zilch in my area. And I was hitting 15-20 different stores every week for the past few months stalking them - TRU, Target, Walmart, K-Mart, you name it.
Lots of my stores have empty space for new BP's too, they just weren't stocking them AT ALL.
I have a theory about this: I think Hasbro really cut back their production #'s on the last few items in the red/white packaging, and will be pushing these in much greater quantities with the new look and packaging. I've already seen photos of at least 1 BP from this wave in the new deco, so it seems plausible they would recycle these in greater numbers after the relaunch.

I might actually get these before my Nahdar Vebb arrives, and he had a one month head start.
And I did. HTS order arrived Saturday, still no sign of Vebb. Now over a month since check was cashed...getting a little worried.
I have to say, I was really impressed with my whole HTS experience. I definitely would go that route again for the right price/right item.

Outside of pegwarming Snow Ani, there have been ZERO around here for weeks now.
I seriously think Hasbro severely cut back the #'s on these last 3 waves.
