I know the mantra is supposed to be "females don't sell", but what are the chances that Katee Sackhoff's Female Death Watch Commando does end up with a figure?  50/50?  Maybe better odds give she's a mando warrior and not an old librarian? :P

It sure puts their misogynistic brain trust in a bind. "She's a Mando" "But, she's a GIRL!" "But she's a MANDO GIRL!!" "AARGH, cannot compute!"

They'll probably end up doing it, a a non-removable helmeted version so you can't really tell she is female.  ::)

BTW, great casting idea...let's get Tahmoh Penikett on there too. You know Seth Green has his number!

I found it shocking and pathetic that Hasbro actually had the Target TCW 2-packs on display, the exact same two sets that are currently being clearanced around the country.

I don't see the point in showing off stuff that has been out for months, like the Endor Pilot sets and Kit Fisto's Jedi Starfighter.

I get that they move some stuff around and may hold stuff back until after the slideshow, but there has to have been something more current they could have thrown in there. I did not see the new B-Wing for example.

I see Walking Dead has a big presence at SDCC. Anyone know if the figures are on display? Or for sale? I am wondering which retail outlets will actually carry these when released this Fall...

Good, Hasbro would have found a way to screw it up anyway. That's one less thing to distract them from fixing the godforsaken SW line now.

Ok, I'll ask the Stupid Question as a clueless fan of the vintage stuff.

Why DON'T they sell these in stores? I would really love to hear the backstory behind this radically unorthodox sales approach.

I mean, there's a good chance I would buy all of these if I could just walk into TRU and pick them up off the shelf.

I've never understood that, their business model seems so counter-intuitive.

Katee Sackhoff as a female Mando?

Oh, hell yes.  8)

I expect Hasbro will probably have to violate their own "He Man Woman Hater's Club" mentality and actually make a figure of her too. The horrors!

I hate that they are bringing that idiotic kid Lux back though. "Hey, I don't want to be a Separatist anymore so I will run away and join a terrorist group that is backed by those same Separatists." Brilliant.

Hopefully they will just kill him off outright. Jedis don't need love interests.

Yeah, I had to LOL at the placard for Savage Oppress: "Available: NOW"

Sure it is. In Bizarro-world!

I know, I'm sure there is plenty of good stuff yet to come. I guess by "zazz" I mean more of the surprise factor. I hadn't heard any rumblings about a new UBP prior to SDCC so they did a pretty good job keeping that one under wraps.

The Mando Gunship is a cool reveal, but was slightly spoiled as we know about its existence before the actual unveiling. If that had not leaked, I definitely would have been wowed.

Yeah, the Mando Gunship was nice, and the Trench Run set, but nothing else had much of a surprise factor. Kind of a letdown really.

Props to Sandtroopers for getting their pics up so quickly.

Ok so far at SDCC, we got confirmation of what the Mandalorian Gunship will look like, and that's about it as far as anything new. Did I miss something?

Nice to see the Flitknot Speeder again, but that dates back to ToyFair.

Artillery Cannon? Fall Waves 1-3? Good to see some new unpackaged photos, but certainly no surprises.

I think the Vintage collection on display had a little more Zazz again this year. Who saw that Trench run UBP coming?

These figures look pretty sharp on display at SDCC, the close-ups of Seripas in particular are amazing. That thing is going to be freaking awesome.

It does feature multiple seating, at least 6 in the cockpit from what I can see.

I like it fine, not the most exciting ship but at least it's not another repaint of a previous vehicle.

Was this the only new midsize vehicle in the case, other than the artillery cannon? I saw something else adjacent but it could have been a V-19.

At this point I'd have to say my 3 most wanted vehicles are the Geonosian Starfighter, the Halo, and the Jedi T-6 shuttle. (Twilight goes without saying, lost cause that it is)

YESSSS!!!!!!!!! Terrax the Tamer FTW!

Why can't we get great pre-Preview Night scoop like this for the SW line?

I want to know what's going to be in the case, what's going to be in th slide show, the whole shebang.

Thanks, Kang was the one I was trying to remember, he'd be a good choice.

Wasn't Thanos a Captain Marvel villain? Like Ego the Living Planet?

Yeah, second that...DCPI would be key. This does not appear to be on their website anywhere yet.

Where exactly was it located too? Endcap display or adjacent to the figures? Bottom shelf? Did it already have the tag out?

Any details would be appreciated...thanks! Awesome find!
