Finally snagged the branding iron and support hook for the Jabba's Dungeon playset. (They were missing from the one I bought on eBay a few months back) Pricey replacement, but a relief to have this out of the way.

I think I've learned my lesson about buying incomplete playsets, ultimately not worth the headaches.

Why haven't I been visiting this thread more often?  ???

I guess at some point I got tired of talking about TV and started to prefer just watching it. (Blame LOST)

I'm a 24 fanatic since Day 1, never missed an episode live.

Last season felt more exciting to me somehow, but a lot of that was due to their layoff in the wake of the writer's strike. Plus it was just good to see Tony again, implausible as it was.

This year? Meh. The threat level just doesn't seem terribly ominous. When the stakes aren't as high, it's hard to replicate the same level of urgency I guess. There have been a few great scenes though. Executing Starbuck has to rank in this year's Top TV moments.

Plus we got DB Sweeney and Michael Madsen this year...awesome.

Any guesses as to how it all ends next week? Figure Jack has to live if they are really serious about transitioning to films. Not sure what would really constitute a surprise ending at this point...

So how much longer til I get my Nahdar Vebb delayed shipping card?  ::)

Those a-holes cashed my check SIX WEEKS AGO, and I've gotten jack shiite.

Hasbro's fulfillment house just plain sucks.

Legacy of the Dark Side? Interesting. Hope it's not TCW-line-related.

Pretty much all that stuff sounded TCW related to me...the more, the better. I'll buy anything they put in that line. Period.   :)

19543 Nikto Robino {sic} Bounty Hunters

Robonino? I am loving the sound of that!  :o

Great stuff. Hard to tell what some of those multipacks might be...re-packs or otherwise.

Don't see getting Jodo next month though, it'd be nice.

My contact at TRU swore he saw the Hasbro Rep literally slapping the sticker on one of the boxes ALREADY ON THE SHELF.

I don't see why he would lie, so I tend to think this is all BS on Hasbro's part. EPIC SHADY.

Oh they hit here alright but if you blinked you missed them. I have all of them MOC but I wanted some extras for opening and there are none to be found. :(

Maybe we'll see some this summer.

bought another magnaguard at tru,LOVE this sale!!

What's wrong with your TRU that they keep stocking new TCW figures? Don't they realize this is against their business model of only stocking Clone Wars figures from 2009?

I literally might have a heart attack if I walked into a TRU around here and found a Clone Wars figures less than six months old.

You can't even order a Magnaguard direct from Hasbro! I guess my dreams of finding one for opening is dead.

3234
Our TRU put out 5 more cases today...that's at least 10 so far, not bad at all.

3235
My contact at TRU confirmed the Hasbro rep was by yesterday slapping stickers on the old product. Not figures, but a couple of starfighters...some them at lunch myself today. What a crock.

I'd bet anything we are going to get a Barriss Offee.

They just made Shaak-Ti in the realistic style and she was on this list, so I don't think it matters so much to them what's happening with a release in another line. Anyway, I hope not.

The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: TRU Exclusive Kul Teska
« on: May 11, 2010, 02:46 PM »

Considering that Star Wars: Republic Heroes is a game that bridges Seasons 1 and Seasons 2 of the Clone Wars series, I really don't think it's that big of a deal for a figure like this to come out.

Yeah, that's a good point and one of the reasons I have no qualms about picking this up. This makes more sense to me than Quinlan Vos, for sure.

It does seem to fly in the face of their whole "it's a kid-based line" mentality though...seems like more of a collector-focused figure.

Well, shut my mouth.  :-X

So it is.

Oops!

Latest TCW figure rumors, courtesy of RS:

Ki-Adi-Mundi

Flamethrower Clone Trooper

Clone Trooper Pilot

R2-D2 Astromech Droid

R4-P7

Shaak Ti

Boba Fett

Embo

Zombie Geonosian

Commander Jet

Quinlan Vos

Cato Parasiti

R7-A7

Not sure how accurate this stuff is, so I will refrain from any positive or negative freakouts, but most of these sound pretty plausible. Cato, Embo, and Zombie Geonosian sound like sure-fire home runs. I don't know that we really need 3 more astromechs, but they're harmless enough. I also wish we could get a "regular" Geonosian before, or at least along with, the Zombie version, but whatever.

The one that potentially bugs me is that Vos guy though. Keep that non-TCW stuff in the non-TCW lines, please. Kul Teska is a stretch, but this one goes over the line, IMO. Couldn't they have slotted this into one of the many, many comic packs they put out over the years? Why jam him into the animated line? If they're planning on rolling him into Season 3, I'm fine with it, but otherwise it just seems like he is taking a spot that could be better used for another worthy candidate, like Bossk. (Just wondering aloud, not really looking to start an argument here) :)
